Gabbie's P.O.V

We get to my house and Liza is still crying.

I have never seen someone cry this much over a boy which she met literally a couple hours ago.

Because... that is clearly the reason. You can see it in her eyes.

That little Dobitch got her hopes up.
Oh but I'm taking him down.

We get to my room and Liza goes to take a shower while I prepare some of my clothes for her. When she is done she puts them on and she looks ridiculously good, even though they were so big for her.

We started laughing even though you could clearly see in Liza's eyes the pain that overfilled them. She starts telling me everything that happened at school and you could see the sparkles in her eyes every time she mentioned David. What the fuck happened? What is so special about that guy? The way that Liza talks about him is just .... I told her that I went back there because the reason that we were going to Pennsylvania for a few days was for a meeting that my dad had, but it got cancelled, and I am so glad about that.

"Liza it's okay. Don't worry. Please don't be sad about him. He doesn't deserve your tears. The only reason that they're dating is because they are fucking perfect for each other. They love to fucking hurt people where it most hurts. If he really was that sweet as you make him look, he wouldn't be so fucking blind and date her."

"He is." Liza replied. "He's too sweet"

"Are you fucking crazy? After all that you still fucking think he is fucking sweet?" I literally couldn't believe my ears.

"Yes, I do. He probably got confused and maybe he kissed her by mistake."

I was so scared for Liza. Something was seriously wrong. It looked like she was loosing her mind.

"Liza please listen to me. They are dating. There is nothing you can do about it."

"You're right..." Liza bursted out crying and I went to hug her. She was shaking and I felt like she was going to pass out.

Why do bad things always happen to the good people?

"I'm okay. Please take me home. I need to be alone."

I take my car keys and I drive Liza back home.

When we arrive she opens the door with a spare key that they had.

"But where is everybody?" I asked, knowing that I would regret it afterwards.
I seriously thought that everyone in her family would organize a big birthday party for her.

"They're not here. My father and his girlfriend always travel on my birthday, and they take my sister with them. We never celebrate my birthday."
"I don't know where they go, they never tell me, but they never bothered to wish me a Happy Birthday since my mother..."

I literally felt so bad for her. She is so pure and innocent but has also suffered sooo much in life.

"Thank you Gabbie! For everything. See you tomorrow."

I asked Liza if she wanted me to stay with her some more and she shook her head and gave me a little fake smile.

"I'm okay. Don't worry. Thank you Gabbie."

Liza closed the door and I left. Sometimes in very hard moments, being alone helps you more than anything.
