The guardians all looked around at one another with sullen eyes.

A day after North had been discovered, unconscious and highly intoxicated, Bunny had decided to step up, claiming he was the only one in the group without a serious issue, which not even Jack detested to.

"We have to talk about this" he grumbled, watching the hungover North groan and fidget in his sleep.

"Well? Ain't nobody gonna say anything'?"

Again, no one spoke.

"Snowflake? Mate?"

"Kangaroo? Asshole?" Jack snickered in reply.

"Oi!"

"I would say sorry, but I'm a bad liar."

Well, it seemed he was in fact a good liar.

He had lied just then.

He knew he was a good liar, it was the only think he thought he was good at.

"Well, since Snowflake wants to be a smartass, he can share first."

Jack gulped, lowering his head and shrugging.

He didn't have a comeback for that, clearly.

"Fine" Bunny snapped "my name is E. Aster Bunnymund and I'm a recovered drug user."

It was the true reason he was the guardian of hope.

His recovery showed you could do anything with hope, and there would always be hope.

As if on cue, North mumbled under his breath, showing his Now conscious state, and took it as his turn in the now anti-clockwise circle.

"My name is Nicholas St North, and I'm an alcoholic" North grumbled.

Sandy was next.

As expected, he didn't speak, it just wasn't a Sandman move.

A few signs popped above his hand, and Bunny's best translation...

My name is Sanderson Mansnoozie, and I'm an abuse victim.

Aster stood up, moving to Sandy and giving him a tight hug, grasping the hand of the woman beside him with a spare paw.

"Your turn princess" he whispered to Toothiana, who appeared as though she was about to throw up.

"My name is Toothiana Fairy, and, oh god, um..."

"It's just us, Tooth, we won't be disappointed" North edged her on.

"My name is Toothiana, and I'm a drug addict..."

"Why do you do drugs?" Bunny pressed.

"I, um..."

She looked around, as if the wall behind Jack Frost's head would tell her anything other than what to do if someone stopped breathing.

"I don't really have a reason" she muttered, not wanting to tell them anymore.

No one questioned.

But all eyes flickered to the last guardian.

Jack Frost.
