"Jack" Toothiana called as the Frost spirit came into view.

He was sat down if the middle of the frozen lake, etching little patterns onto the thin surface with the tip of his staff.

"Thank god" the tooth fairy balled him over, wrapping her arms around him as her with fluttered erratically.

Bunny, who was still at the opening of the clearing, didn't seem pleased by her obvious display of affection towards the boy, holding himself back from prying his partner's arms from the winter spirit.

Jack, who was completely zoned out, didn't acknowledge Toothiana or Bunny, instead, continued drawing, causing Tooth to release her grip and distance herself.

The boys sleeves were rolled up, exposing the fleshy marks, of all different sizes and depths, to her eyes.

"I think... I think we should come back later" she gushed to Bunnymund, who froze at her obvious behavioral change, but followed her anyway, leaving the youngest boy to his sketches.

Once they had left, Jack stood up, using his staff for support as pain shot through his leg.

He'd caught it on a tree limp when the wind gave out, slicing open the flesh on his leg and ruining his pants.

Now, he was beginning to question trusting the wind to take him everywhere.

"They gave up easy" he grumbled, until he noticed his exposed arms and realization dawned on him.

Tooth had seen.

Tooth would tell the others.

"I'm such a fucking idiot" he groaned.

His leg was still bleeding, badly, and he contemplated going to Jamie and asking for bandages, but the boy would obviously want to know what for.

Which would set of the sequence of showing the boy his wound, which would lead to a long unwanted explanation of what happened.

He decided, spot just sit down and stay there.

There was nothing wrong with that decision.
