Seemingly, they'd all decided to pretend that nothing had happened, and just to pretend everything was normal.
Tooth, discarded the fact that she wanted to be treated like usual beside her drug addiction, cast it aside.
She couldn't just pretend she hadn't seen what Jack had done to himself.
They all hated someone else, or had some secret reasoning behind their self destructive behavior.
But Jack, Jack hated himself.
He was destroying himself because he truly hated himself.
Although centuries old, he was so young compared to the others, and he had seen so much he shouldn't have.
He had watched his mentors, his family, fall apart.
He had watched people he looked up to falter and fall.
He had been along for three hundred years, he'd questioned his existence for three hundred years.
