History

The society of Carnival was founded by a small group of individuals who strived to better their lives. Just like the United States the society is fairly young, only about 279 years. Most of the people are descendants of the founders. They were all survivors of the Grand Shift. The Grand Shift was when the ruling family died due to their trusted council assassinated them causing a power shift. The council members first order was to have the N.A.B.U. ( National Assassination Brotherhood Union) kill all of the past ruler's subjects. The founders of Carnival were just barely able to survive in order to create the grand society of today. The founders had to go through the hardship of surviving outside the sheltered life that was provided when they were inside their kingdom. They were forced into the abandoned concrete jungle. Because they were uneducated, within a year about 60 out of the estimated 98 people survived. When the last body dropped they appointed the smartest individuals to lead them to salvation. A man named Angelus and a woman named Zeal. Carnival's first year was the date of their first son's birthday and their victories against the council2q , Zanter 1 , 001. And on Wanda 15, 004 they rebuilt the first building in the abandoned concrete jungle.

Government

Also like America, Carnival's their first form of government ultimately failed. The first generations thought it was best to copy the government of their old kingdom, the family would rule over and the council would keep them in check. This didn't work because everyone believed Zeal prediction that the old ways would end in the same result. In the year 006, Angelus gave all the power to the people after establishing the four branches of government. Each branch is in charge of the different age groups. However unlike Anthem, Carnival does not separate the people. Each branch handles the day-to-day activities for the age group they represent. The Kinder branch is responsible for children from one years old to 15 years old. The Jovenes branch is responsible for the citizens of the ages 16 to 25; the Naruke branch for ages 26 to 46; and the Elder branch for all ages above 47. In each branch there are four representatives that propose policies that the people vote on. All citizens get to vote once every year. And only the people from each perspective age group can vote for the law inside the branch. A law to protect the rights of the people is each member of the branch is to never limit the potential of a citizen.

Justice

In Carnival we have built a foundation of trust. Each citizen is to simply trust one another. This is why we do not have currency. The founder thought the desire to a piece of coin be a waste of initial ambition. Also it causes to many problems. Instead the chip placed inside each citizen at birth keep track the time contributed to society. This is a new type of currency that could hurt anyone. This way no one will need to steal. However if one does commit a crime, depending on severity, they are to go through one of the three punishment decided by the Kurage squad. The Kurage squad work alongside the lions. The lions capture lawbreakers and brings them to their facilities. From then on you'll either serve time in solitary confinement or be released from Carnival or be fed to the lions. The Kurage does sometimes bring in the robotic jury. They're robotic to ensure no bias or corrupt thinking affects the judgment.

Education

The Branch of Kinder is responsible for education. They decided that everyone be apart of the Education system. People usually start their general learning at about four years old. The learning system is similar to the one of the United States but instead of 12 of general education, it is 10 years. And instead of being placed by age it is placed by learning type. At the age of 15 or 14 the everyone chooses their occupation and continues their 1 to 4 years of training. It all depends on their choice.

Community

The typical family is very close to one another. Unlike Anthem we do not force procreate. The adults who decide they want a child shall do so but, they must get approved by a government doctor. When the child is born he/she is to stay with his/her parents. The parents provide, care and teach the child. Children are treated with care because they are in fact the future of Carnival. Once the child starts their training or their career, they are allowed allowed to move out of their homes. The Jovenes and Naruke Branch come together and distribute the jobs in the new year. Most jobs only need one year of training. For example the position for town crier. The town crier is more for entertainment because all they do is speak popular lyrics in a monotone voice. Some jobs like Carnivals scribes. They are only ten scribes and each have to read all past scribe's entries. In addition similarly to United States almost all jobs require a School diploma. And once they get a job after a 1,440 hours of training they are eligible for housing and medical insurance. As well, when one retires they shall live in peace because they have dedicated their live to Carnival. Those who don't work are considered invalid to society and are faced with many challenges.

Sports and Entertainment

Carnival is known for its many types of entertainers. The citizen barely participate in sports and have a knack for creativity. But the one sport in Carnival that is played three months of the year, they love is Armless Army. There are three groups each with 12 players. Their arms are bound to their sides and they have to bring down the other members of the groups. However they have to be carrying a wooden sword the entire time. They can be disarmed but they aren't out until they're slashed across the chest. The sport is widely loved because it brings a smile to anyone who watches. The people of Carnival love to smile and provide happiness. That is why they have so many magicians, jugglers, comedians, and even contortionist. Most of the entertainment you find in Carnival you'll find in any circus. We have a very special day to celebrate all the entertainers that we share with the Hetalians. Together Hetalia and Carnival have a grand festival to celebrate joy and merry making with our closest ally which lies on the day Cosmos 17.

Funny part about this is I read this to my sister first and she said it was a communist society, which I flat out denied.

Then I explained to a friend outside of the class and she agreed with my sister to which I then googled communism and freaked out for 10 minutes.
