"Hey Jamie," you smiled. Jamie waved at you with a blank look on his face. "How was your weekend?" Jamie shrugged his shoulders, not wanting to speak because he knew it would show his new braces. "Did I do something wrong," you asked, suddenly feeling hurt. Jamie shook his head no. "Then why won't you talk to me?" Jamie sighed and slightly opened up his mouth. "Are those braces?" "Unfortunately yes, they are." You smiled, "Cool! I like the colors!"
