Liah's POV
Today is Saturday.
This is stupid. Ba't ko pa kasi naisipan 'to?
I should be Netflix and chilling right now.
I'm with Rye, though. Sabi niya sasamahan niya daw ako para hindi naman ako mabagot, so I let him.
Naka complete outfit pa siya, with an apron and a chef hat. Oh god, this is embarrassing.
"Chef outfit, I bought it online." Proud niya pang sabi.
"Mukha kang gago hahahahahahaha"
"Good morning, everyone. Today we will be learning the basics. How to cut meat and vegetables, how to dice them, mince them, every basic thing you need to learn to start cooking."
"Okay, kaya ko 'to." Panimula ko.
Nag-chop na ako ng carrots very accurately. Yes!
Naka-tingin lang sakin si Rye.
"Rye, picture! Our first cooking experience. Well not really cooking, more like our first chopping and slicing experience."
"At by the way, hindi ko 'to first cooking experience. Magaling kaya ako mag-luto."
"Weeeh?
"Sige, ganto nalang. After this, dun nalang tayo mag-dinner sa bahay, ako ang magluluto." Sabi niya sakin, ever so proudly.
"Sige ba!" sagot ko naman.
I can't believe after all these days, hindi ko alam na nagluluto pala siya. Well, now I know.
"Hi Liah!" Excited na pag-bati ng mommy niya.
"Hello, tita Sheryl." Niyakap ko siya.
"How are you, Liah? Is Rye treating you right? I heard nagka-problema kayo, right? Humingi pa sakin yan ng advice eh." Pang-asar ni tita kay Rye.
"Maaaa" sabi naman ni Rye. Para siyang bata kung makapag-complain eh. Cute.
"By the way, wrong timing ang pag-punta niyo." Sabi ni tita.
"Bakit po tita?" tanong ko naman.
"Well, Jhun and I are supposed to meet our friend all the way from Australia tonight, and I'm running a bit late. You kids have fun, alright? I'll be back soon." Yakap niya saaming dalawa.
"Ingat, tita! Enjoy!" I wave habang papasok siya sa kotse niya.
