Liah's POV
Lunch namin, at kasalukuyan kaming nasa school cafeteria ngayon.
Why?
Hindi ko rin alam.
Pinilit lang ako ng mokong na to.
"Liah, kumain ka naman," Rye pleads.
"No, hindi ako gutom." Sagot ko naman.
Pinatawad ko na si Rye, pero not completely.
Gets niyo ba?
Naguusap na kami ulit, pero not the same way.
I'm stone cold, if you ask me.
"Mmmm, saraaaap." Ani ni Rye habang kumakain ng pizza.
"Not working," irap ko.
"Eto pa oh, sobrang sarap kayaaa" pagpapa-inggit niya habang kumakain ng isa pa.
"Akin na nga yan!" sigaw ko. Hindi ko na nakayanan.
"Oh ayan," abot niya ng isang slice. "Bibigay din pala."
"What? Pizza is my weakness, it's my heart, my love and my soul. Even though the things we love will always be the cause of our pain. Charot, literal na pain. Too much pizza leads to death. But I would die for pizz- Oh. I'm sorry. I'm talking way too much."
"No, don't be sorry. Masaya ako na bumabalik na ang dating Liah," ngiti niya. "And besides, you're cute as fuck."

"A-ah, haha." Hindi ko talaga alam sasabihin ko.

"Oh bakit nanaman? Flattered ka naman diyan," pang-asar niya.
"Hindi nakakatawa," irap ko sakanya.
"Well, jokes aside," tingin niya sakin. "You really are beautiful, and I hope you can see that."
This is what every girl wants to hear.
Pero hindi ko alam kung totoo nga ba 'to.
"Thanks," sabi ko nalang.
I like him.
But I don't know if it's him, I like.
Or his words.
