Chapter Four

"You're letting him stay?!" Alyx yelled. 

"Look I can't just let him leave now. Not until I know his stitches wont get infected. Can't have that on my head." 

"Oh my God you're attracted to him!" 

"Oh my God!" I said in an over exaggerated voice. "No," i said calmly. The water clicked off in the bathroom and I knew Aidon was done. 

"We are so not done talking about this Lenna." She was yawning loosing the fight with sleep. "I am calling you when I wake up." 

"Yeah, yeah," I laughed. "Goodnight bitch." 

"Goodnight you whore." I rolled my eyes and ended the call dropping my head back. I could seriously go for a nap right about now. 

"Why did you stop?" Aidon's voice rang from the door way. I looked up and saw he was freshly dressed. His hair was neatly hanging around his shoulders looking silky and soft. The dried blood was washed away and he almost looked human again. 

He was wearing Donny's clothes, the shirt didn't fit him at all it was way too big on his slender frame. The sweats fit him well enough, they were a little too short on his legs but they fit his waist well enough. 

"What?" i asked with a yawn. 

"Why did you stop last night? What made you stop?" 

"I heard you calling for help, knew no one else comes down that street." I shrugged. "Honestly I don't know what made me stop. I have a bad record of being in the right place at the very wrong time. I should have just walked away but I didn't so here we are." 

"Letting some random guy sleep on your couch while you stitch his wounds." 

"Exactly." He flashed a smile at me, revealing perfect teeth. He walked over and sat on the couch next to me. He smelled like lilacs, my body wash and I had to smile at that. 

"Now what?" Aidon asked. 

"Well I have work at five so," i breathed seeing the time. It was one in the afternoon now. How I don't know, but it was. "I'll make dinner soon enough but sadly we are out of alcohol. I may or may not have finished an entire bottle of vodka last night with your help." 

"Oh I helped? I didn't know that." 

I nodded laughing, "Yeah you had three glasses all by yourself." 

He chuckled shaking his head. "I'll buy us more if you show me where to go." 

"That means moving," I groaned. He nodded at me. "Fine." I groaned once more and stood up. I could feel his eyes on my ass as I walked. "Eyes up!" I called. I kicked the door shut to his laughter and got dressed. 

I pulled on a pair of lace tights and a pair of jeans that were more holes than anything. I pulled on my bar tee and got ready for the day. I put on some deodorant and perfume and pulled on my old boots stepping outside. 

"So who's Donny?" Aidon asked as I stepped out. I froze and spun towards him in shock. "Whoa." 

"Where'd you hear that name?" I asked. He wasn't near me when I was talking to Alyx but it wasn't impossible that he did hear. 

He picked up my phone from the table and turned it towards me. Donny's face was on my screen as it buzzed, he was calling. 

"Fuck fuck fuck," i said hurrying over and taking it from his hands. "You stay quiet understand?" Aidon nodded not really sure what was happened. 

"Hey Donny," I answered putting on a happy voice. I paced the floor of the apartment as we spoke. This was either going to be a very good conversation or a very bad one.
