Two hours have passed in utter silence. Aidon was watching Skylar, Skylar was watching Aidon and I was watching both of them. They looked ready to kill each other but neither of them moved from their seats.

"So you escape me," Skylar smirked shifting closer to the arm rest to loosen the zip ties about his wrist. "Bravo by the way. And then come here and end up staying with her of all people." He chuckled and shook his head. "Do you even know who she is?"

"I know who she is," Aidon growled.

"She doesn't know who you are," I said looking at Skylar.

"Stay out of this girl," he said his eyes never leaving Aidon. My grip on the bat tightened, but Aidon took it from my hands easily enough. He put it on the counter looking at Skylar again.

"Selena Marie Pittman," Skylar began. He was smiling as he spoke, his teeth perfect like his brothers but his was cold and ruthless. "Age twenty, naturally you're a red head with green eyes but you've dyed your hair recently to purple. Your dad died in a car accident when you were four, you were in the back seat screaming about your lost teddy bear. You still blame yourself to this day, maybe if you hadn't lost your bear or screamed about it, daddy would have seen the ice." My hands were trembling as he spoke and my heart skipped. "Mom agreed with you but she would never say it out loud without a few drinks in her. Then there was no stopping her. She drank herself into coma and you and little Donny got sent into foster care, where things got even worse for you-"

I jumped to my feet charging towards him but Aidon was quicker. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me back away from Skylar. "You son of a bitch!" i screamed but I wasn't going anywhere. Aidon had a good grip on my waist as he brought me into my room. He kicked the door shut cutting us off.

"That stupid son of a bitch!" I yelled when he finally let me go. I was shaking still, I wrapped my arms around myself holding tight. "How the fuck does he know those things? My records are sealed."

"He has a way of finding things out that shouldn't be found out," Aidon whispered. "Just, just stay here, let me figure this out."

"The last time you tried to figure things out with him, I found you on the side of the road with an arrow in your shoulder." I ran my hands through my hair and down my face. "I want him out of here and I want to know the truth."

"What?" He looked shocked and a little scared.

"Don't bullshit me Aidon." I sat on my bed hugging one of my knees to my chest. "There is so much more going on then what you've told me. People don't just find me Aidon, people don't just happen to know these things about me, it just doesn't happen."

He looked desperate, confused and scared all at the same time, yet he also looked relieved. He ran a hand down his face and nodded at me. "Okay, okay," he breathed, "Just- just let me deal with him first."

I nodded and he stepped forward. He put a gentle hand on my shoulder, "It'll be okay." He cupped my cheek for a second before leaving. The door shut behind him and I fell back onto my bed with a heavy sigh.

This is bloody crazy. These things should not be happening and I should be asleep right now. I rolled over and caught a smell. Aidon's smell, it was a mix of my lilac body wash and his deodorant. It smelled great.

My phone went off bringing me back to reality. I shook my head clearing the thoughts as I picked up my phone- Alyx.

"Hey there," i smiled hoping to put her off. I moved into the bathroom and shut that door as well hoping to block even more sound.

"Hey. So tell me whats new?" Alyx was always so chipper and I had to smile at that.

"Well things just keep getting weirder and weirder." I sat on the edge of the tub gently. "His brother showed up."

"That's impossible."

I scoffed and shook my head even though she couldn't see me. "Exactly my point." I heard yelling but it was muffled. "It's just weird."

"It's weird because you like him."

"Not the time Alyx." She made a squeak noise and I winced at it realizing that I hadn't denied what she said. "Shit."

"You didn't deny me!"

"Alyx," i groaned. I slid back into the tub and got comfortable using a towel as a pillow. "We shouldn't be having the conversation right now."

"I'm not waiting till I get back so spill." I laughed at her.

"It's nothing really, just-" i worried at my lower lip. "He's cute and kind and funny. Takes my sarcasm with a grain of salt." I shrugged a bit. "I don't know what it is, just he's cute."

"Why do these things happen when I'm not there?!" I laughed at her. "Try and get some sleep I will call you later."

"Fair enough." We said goodbye and ended the call. I dropped my phone onto my stomach as I laid in the tub. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Oh so you think I'm cute," Aidon's voice rang from the door way. I nearly jumped out of my skin at hearing that. I blushed at the comment and stood up from the tub.

"So not talking about this," i grumbled as i moved past him. He grabbed my wrist gently as we stepped into my room.

"He's gone but I can't promise that he wont come back," Aidon said calmly. "And I did promise to tell you what was going on."

"That'd be helpful." He smiled and nodded. He slid his hand into mine and guided me back to the living room. Skylar was gone but the zip ties were still there.

Aidon guided me to the couch and I sat. He went to the kitchen and poured me a glass of wine. He sat next to me and handed me the glass.

"You'll need that," he whispered. I took the glass and took a small sip.

"I feel like you're about to tell me someone in my family died or something," i chuckled nervously.

He smiled again. "No nothing like that," he said, "you may think I am insane after but nothing like that."

"That's where you're wrong, I already think you're insane." He rolled his eyes at me turning to face me.

"Ready?" I met his eyes nodding. "The Greek Gods are real and I am one of them."
