"Why don't you start with how the hell he ended up here?" Alyx said looked at me.
"Ha yeah about that," I laughed nervously. I was blushing, i ran my hand through my hair shaking it out. "How bout you tell that story Aidon?"
"Oh no that's all you darling," Aidon laughed, "But I'll take this cutie while you girls talk."
"I hate you," i grumbled as he picked up Rory. She giggled at him not afraid.
"I know."
"God now you two are misquoting movies," Alyx groaned throwing her head back. Aidon chuckled disappearing into my room with Rory.
Alyx and I sat on the couch with a heavy sigh propping our legs up on the table. I looked over at her taking a deep breath. "He got in a fight with his brothers," I said, "A bad one and they just left him there. I heard him calling for help on my way home from work and helped him back here."
I sighed dropping my head. "i know it's crazy but you know me, things go wrong in the weirdest ways possible."
"And now what you two are a thing?"
"I don't know." I groaned and dropped my arm over my eyes. "Things are weird."
"He has the body of a God though. I can see why you like him." Oh if you only knew how true that was. "And he did just save our asses."
Rory giggled in the other room. "And he's good with Rory," i laughed.
"We should keep him around just for that fact." I laughed at her and shook my head. "Where were you when I called? You weren't here."
"I was with Aidon," I smiled sitting up again. "We were out so I had him bring me back. He offered to help and I took it."
"And thank god you did we needed him." Rory gave out a squeal of annoyance before starting scream. It was her lunch time.
"Lunch time," we laughed as Aidon came back into the room with a screaming Rory. He looked confused and a little scared as to what was going on. Alyx quickly stood and took Rory from him moving into the nursery to make Rory a bottle. Aidon walked over and sat on the couch next to me.
"What'd you tell her?" he asked quietly.
"That you and your brothers got in a fight and they left you there and that I found you on my way home from work," I whispered. "Close enough to the truth."
"You can't tell her the truth, or anyone."
"Of course not I'd be sent to an asylum and heavily sedated for the rest of my life. I don't want that anymore than the next guy."
"Oh that could be fun, all tied up and no where to go."
"Wow you just took a three sixty turn in the other direction," i laughed feeling the blush on my cheeks. Aidon smiled and turned towards me.
"I've been alive for a few milenia I know what I like." I blushed an even deeper shade of red. I couldn't form a sentence, so I was very thankful when Alyx called from the other room, "Hey Lenna don't you have work?"
I cleared my throat and turned away from Aidon, "Here's a surprise, no I do not!"
Alyx made a gasping noise from the other room, "What? Ms-never-has-a-day-off has a day off?" I laughed at her, but soon enough my phone buzzed.
"Uh oh don't jinx us!" I called picking up my phone. I unlocked my phone and saw it was a text from an unknown number. I glanced at Aidon and he was smirking at me mischievously. "Safe to assume this is you then?"
"Nah its the other guy who's really into you."
"Oh so it's Marcus then." Aidon looked at me with a smirk. He moved over and quickly grabbed my legs pulling me down the couch. He leaned over me his chest pressing against mine.
"Should I prove myself some more?" I was trapped underneath him, no where to go and no way out. He didn't wait for an answer just pressed his lips against mine. This kiss was different then our last one, this one was unyielding. There was no holding back with this kiss. His free hand gripped my waist holding me tight to him. His hands were warm, ungodly warm, but not uncomfortable. His lips were firm against mine, gently biting at my bottom lip. There was a electricity his touch and it sent shivers across my skin.
I gasped at the feeling breaking the kiss. Aidon pressed his forehead against mine, both of us gasping for air like we had just run a marathon. His striking eyes were still closed, his lips trembling. "Stay with me tonight," he gasped his voice shaking barely above a whisper, "There's plenty of room in the castle. Let me show you my world, let me show you everything." He was pleading to me, begging me to do this.
"Okay," I gasped, "Okay just let me talk to Alyx and get a bag."
Aidon smiled widely at me and kissed me gently once more. He sat up first then helped me back to my feet. My knees were trembling but I managed to walk steadily over to see Alyx and Rory. I knocked gently on the nursery door before walking in.
"Hey," Alyx said smiling up at me from her chair. Rory was asleep in her arms still sucking on the bottle.
"Hey," i said quietly taking a knee in front of them.
"What's up girly? You look a little flustered." My heart was pounding in my chest and I was still shaking. You don't know the half of it.
"I'm gonna go stay with Aidon. Go to his place."
"Are you sure?" She was cautious, she had to be now, especially with Rory being around more but she always had been. I smiled up at her and gave her hand a squeeze.
"For once," I laughed, "I'm actually very sure." She smiled and nodded. "I'll text you if I need anything."
"You better." I laughed. I kissed the top of Rory's bald little baby head and left the room. Aidon was sitting on the couch still and I smiled at him. I moved to my room and packed an overnight bag.
"Ready?" Aidon asked from the doorway. He was standing casually, hands tucked into his pockets, leaning against the door frame. He was watching my every move like he was committing it to memory.
"I think so," I replied standing tall again with my bag over my shoulder.
He walked over and took my hands gently in his. "You aren't having second guesses are you?"
"I'm still attempting to wrap my head around everything that has happened in the past few days. And I really don't need you adding fifty shades of fucked up to my reality right now."
Aidon laughed and pulled away from me moving to my over crowded bookshelf. "Can you stop quoting books? Is that even possible?"
I shrugged casually smirking over at him. "If I really really tried probably, but I probably wont." He shook his head and walked back over to me.
"Ready Princess?" I took his hand in mine smiling and nodded to him. We walked out of the apartment and stood in the hallway for a second. Aidon pulled me close, holding me tight as the wind began to whip around us taking us away.
