Chapter 5

Aprils POV

After lunch I was walking down the hallway when I bumped into a hard wall-scratch that hard chest.

I fell on the floor and winced as a pain shot up my back.I looked up only to find myself looking into the blue eyed boy that I like.
He was looking down at me with a worried expression on his face.Then he immediately covered it up with a rock hard expression.He held his hand out for me and I grabbed it but pulled back when I felt shocks run up my arm.i held in my gasp and just got myself up off the floor.
"Sorry" we both said at the same time.He chuckled
"It's my fault I should have been watching where i was going"he said
Awwwww that was so sweet he apologized.
"Yea me too if I wasn't so caught up in my drawing I wouldn't have bumped into you"
"Do you need some ice?"he asked his voice laced with worry
"Umm yea that would be great actually"i said
"Yea I'll take you to the nurse."

I looked behind Carter and saw Lily and Jen giving me thumbs up and kissy faces.I laughed and started walking with Carter down the hallway.

When we reached the nurses office she looked up and said"Hi sweetie what's the problem"Before I could say anything Carter beat me to it.

"She fell down"
"Oh ok well would you like some ice to put on it?"she asked
"Yes please"I said
"Ok well here you go...You can go sit down over on the chair and put it on your back"she said

I went over and sat on the chair with the ice on my back while Carter sat next to me."I'm sorry I knocked you down"Carter said
"That's really sweet but I'm honestly ok and If you want you can go back to class it's not like I'm dying"I said telling the truth
"I know I just wanna make sure your gonna be alright"he said while grabbing my hand and I blushed.

I wonder why he's acting all sweet and cute.I thought he was the mean cruel bad boy. I mean don't get me wrong I love this and all, but i just feel he's acting different.As I thinking all that Blake(her brother) walked in.

He ran over to me and said"I heard what happened are you alright?"
"I'm not dying people!"I said
Carter just chuckled
Blake's head snapped over to him and looked at are intertwined hands
"Uhhhh?" He said looking confused

Carter and I un-tangled are hands really quickly.
"I just helped her here she was in pain"
"Oh ok do you want me to take you home?"Blake asked
"You have to stay here"I said

"I can take her if you want I have next period free."
Oh my god did Carter just ask to take me home?!
"Could you that would be great Bro"Blake said

"Yea sure I don't mind"Carter said as he sent me a wink.Of course guess what I did I BLUSHED.

I gave Blake a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the school with Carter to his car.
"Uhhhh where do you live?" Carter asked
I told him my address as I started to doze off.

I woke up to him picking me up out of the car carrying me bridal style to the house.I nustled my head in his neck.He shivered
"Is the key under the mat?"he whispered
"Mmmhmm." I whispered dozing off again.
He walked up the stairs and put me in my bed.He kissed my forehead and was about to walk out When my idioc brain said for me "please stay?" I asked.He looked at me shock and excitement written all over his face as he sat down on my bed and wrapped his arms around me as I cuddled his chest and fell asleep.
