Carter's POV

"I NEED HELP MY GIRLFRIEND PASSED OUT!" I yelled running into the hospital looking around everywhere.
"Bring her here!" a nurse yelled pointing towards a stretcher. I ran towards it and laid her down. They started rolling her towards the emergency section in the hospital.
I was about to follow them into the room they were taking her to but a nurse put her hand on my chest.
"I'm sorry sir but you can't come in this room." she said.
"I have to! She's my girlfriend!" I growled trying to push past all the nurses that were holding me back.
"I'm sorry" they said pushing me in a seat in the waiting room. I guess I should call her family.
I decided that I should call Blake first cause he's been on edge lately.
"Hello" his tired voice sounded through the other line.
"Hey Blake it's Carter,I found April and I brought her to the hospital." I said.
"Oh my god! I'm on my way!" He said fast then hung up .
Blake and I were just sitting there waiting impatiently. I called her parents and told them everything that happened. They were extremely mad,and they said they couldn't make it up for a couple days.
I saw the doctor come out and Blake and I went to our feet quickly,with anxious looking faces.
"I have good and bad news" he said rubbing his hands together.
"Tell us the good news first" I said
"Well the good news is she's alive and stable." he said
"Oh thank god" I heard Blake mumble. I couldn't agree with him more.
"So what's bad news" I asked biting my nails. I was dreading the bad news.
"The bad news is she's in a coma, she could be in it for a couple days,weeks,months or years" he said with a sympathetic look on his face.
My heart just burst. Years?
"Years?" I choked out.
"Yes I'm truly sorry,her condition isn't as bad so I'm thinking she will wake in a week or so." he said. Okay well that's good.
*3 weeks later*
It's been 3 weeks already and there's no sign she's getting better. I've come everyday and just talked to her even though she's not listening. I put the flowers in the table,sat down ,grabbed her hand,and started to talk to her.
"I know your not listening but I want you to know I love you so much." I started to say

April's POV

I felt weird. I felt like I was floating in space. Every time Carter would visit me I could hear everything he was saying. But I couldn't open my eyes. It was like physically impossible. This time I heard him say something that mad me want to cry.
"I know your not listening but I want you to know I love you so much and you need to wake up before Blake, me and your parents lose our minds. You know what's funny? Ive had a crush on you since the first time I saw you in 6th grade. Yeah I know big tough guys like me don't usually have crushes on a girl. I remember when you came to school the first day in your red sundress with your hair in those bouncy curls. All the 8th grade guys kept hitting on you, then Blake punched one in the face and got detention." I heard him say.
I remember that day perfectly,that was the day I started liking him too. I never knew he liked me since I started liking him. He is a year older than me.
"I never thought you would be mine,When you started going out with the running back,Bryan ,and he cheated on you do you remember the next day he came to school all beat up and said he fell off his horse, yeah he didn't, I beat him up." Carter said rubbing circles on my hand. No way! I never knew that, it was Carter all along who beat up Bryan. I needed to wake up before he left.
"I love you" he said and kissed my forehead and was about to remove his hand from mine when I used all my strength to squeeze his hand. He gasped.
"April?!" He said excitedly. I finally opened my eyes to see his beautiful eyes that I've missed.
"Yeah" I said scratchy. I guess he caught on and grabbed the water bottle that was next to me and handed it over. I immediately grabbed It and felt the cool liquid go down my throat. It felt so good.
"Better?" he asked chuckling. I nodded.
"You know I love you right?" he asked
"Of course I know you love me and I love you too" I said
"Good,if you didn't wake up I don't know what I would have done with myself" he said rubbing his head.
"All this time I heard everything you said, I didn't know you had a crush on me since you were in seventh grade." I said to him.
"Yeah I know I'm pretty sure the year before that I liked you to but I didn't see you all summer,and then when you came to school that day I knew I liked you and now I love you" he said. Oh my gosh. Here come the tears.
" I hate to break up this extremely cute moment but you know what I haven't done in a while?" I asked him
"What is that?" he asked
"This." I grabbed the collar of his shirt an brought his lips onto mine...
