Chapter 18

Carter's POV

It's been a whole 2 weeks...
Two weeks without her knowing who I am. I've come everyday. To get her to know me better we would play 20 questions. I couldn't ask her questions because she knows nothing about herself.

April's POV

It's been two weeks since I woke up and I remember nothing.Carter comes every day and asks the same question
'Do you remember yet?'
It honestly breaks my heart. He told me the stories of what me and him would do together. Like apparently we had pancake batter fight. My dad almost beat the crap out of him. I laughed until my sides hurt. My parents and brother came a few days ago and I felt so bad for not knowing who they were.

When I opened my eyes from my 8 hour nap everything came back to me.
My parents, Blake, Carly, Nate and most importantly Carter.
It was almost 2:00 so that meant Carter was going to visit soon. I was sitting anxiously when the door opened and Carter walked in. A smile broke onto my face.
"What? is there something on my face? I knew I shouldn't have ate that chocolate" he said mumbling the last part to himself. I just giggled.
"There's nothing on your face silly" I said
"Ok then what's wrong?" he asked sitting down.
"How's Nate doing?" I asked.
"Oh you know same- you remember?!" he asked
"Yes I woke up this morning and everything came back to me." I said Carter sat on the bed next to me so our heads were touching.
"That's great!" he said and leaned over and kissed me.
When we broke the kiss I heard him whisper"Will you be my girlfriend?"
I smiled so widely I probably looked crazy. " Yes of course!" I said and jumped up to hug him, which was a bad idea because I immediately groaned from the pain that still hasn't gone away after 2 weeks.
"Woah April slow down. Why don't I just hug you" he said chuckling and wrapped his strong arms around me. I'm so happy words can't describe. I've liked Carter since I was 11 and now I'm 17. I am dating the boy of my dreams.
Carter and I fell asleep.

I woke up to my boyfriend( I will never get used to that) talking to the nurse. I just pretended to be asleep.
"Yea so when can she be released?" Carter asked.
"If she wants to she can be let out in an hour" the nurse said looking at Carter like he was a piece of meat. She started tracing his arm with her fingers. Oh hell no
"I would really like it if you got your slutty hands off my boyfriend before I get out if this bed and punch you in the face" I growled
The lady's eyes widened and she immediately took her hands of him and scurried out the door.
"That was really hot" Carter said walking towards me.
"She had her hands all over you!" I said
"Yea I know who wouldn't want there hands all over this sexy piece of me." He said motioning to his body.
I started laughing
"I want to get out of here!" I groaned
"Yea I signed the papers so if you want to leave now we can" Carter said

Carter pulled in my driveway.
"Do you wanna come in?" I asked
"I can't I have something to do but I have to ask you something" he said
"Ok" I said
"Would you umm...uhh want to maybe umm go onadatewithme." He said the last part really quickly I could barely understand.
"Sure!when?" I said excitedly. It was only Friday and Christmas break has started officially today.
"Really?! Uh how about Tuesday night?"
"Umm ok..." I said already planning the outfit in my head.
I was about to get out of the car when Carter turned me around and crashed his lips to mine. He pulled away a little later leaving me gasping for air.
"See ya later" he said and winked
"You little tease!" I said laughing and getting out of the car.
I watched his sleek black car pull out of my driveway and make his way down the road. I walked in the house and went to walk up the stairs." So you two are dating now" a voice came from behind me making me jump 30 feet in the air.
"Blake oh my gosh you just scared the shit out of me!" I yelled and punched him in the arm.
"Are you guys dating?" he asked
"Uh yea he asked me out today" I said
"Don't you think you and him are moving a little to fast?" he said
Are me and Carter moving to fast? I don't know. Ugh
"I don't know I guess I just have to see where this all goes" I said
"Ok, but you know his reputation so please tell me if he hurts you at all and I'll go all protective big brother on him" Blake said
"Of course Blake you know I will always tell you everything." I said hugging him.
"Alright well I have to go out working tonight so I'll call you later" he said and walked out the front door. I walked up the stairs and went into the bathroom and got in the shower and washed the icky hospital stuff off me and went back in my room when I saw my phone light up.

That was the last thing I saw before I drifted into a dreamless sleep...
