Kalee's POV

I took another sip of Snapple before realizing that they boy next to me was still staring at me. I smiled attempting not to blush.

"So project?" I asked he nodded, not saying anything, I looked at him confused. "What are we doing about it?" I asked. Zach shrugged.

"I don't know?" He said I bit my lip.

"Maybe we could-

"Exchange numbers and then on wensday work on it at your place." He said I gigled.

"I wasn't going to say that but whatever you want to do that's fine with me. "I just hope that I don't have to do all of the work." I said. Zach laughed.

"Hey, don't worry Kalee, I'm' Asian, I got the smarts he said. He was hard to decide once again I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, I hoped that he wasn't because I could use a smart person that would be fine with doing ninety percent of the project for me.

"Well then I guess I can breathe for once," I said he grinned lightly placing his hand on my shoulder as he looked at me, I stared into his dark brown chocolate eyes.

"Tell you what I'll get some of the project done. All you have to do is breath." He said I smiled as the bell rang. He looked at me grinning.

"See ya." I sad getting up throwing my empty bottle away and walking out of the lunchroom. Maybe I wouldn't hate this Zach as much as i though I would. All I had was study hall now so I would relax and then go home. If I was a good person that was productive I would have worked on the project but if I was being honest I knew that as soon as I sat down on my bed I would either pass out or listen to music and I knew for a fact that I would not have the 'time' for things that were not fun, not that I ever really did. I just winged it with most things and hope I passed. This bio project would have to be one of them, Becuase now halfway through the year I was not in the mood for the sighted bit of work what so ever. maybe I was lazy or maybe I was just done with the commitment I couldn't tell the difference. It would take something that I really cared about for me to suddenly care enough. That rarely happened. However, though I was starting to think that maybe just maybe that as time went on I would begin to like this project a little bit more every time I talk to Zach. It was a rare occasion but I never knew when the feelings would strike and right now, at this moment as I walked Zach walk out of the lunch room with all of his jock buddies that slowly if I wanted to admit it or not I was falling for the boy that I had hated earlier today named Zach Dempsey.
