Zach's POV

I opened my eyes happy that I hadn't been jerked awake by the annoying sound of my alarm clock. The only reason being that it was a saturday and believe me that was a relief I was glad that it was a day off I didn't have to worry about anything that was going on at school all I had to do was worry about myself and myself only. Well that was a lie if I were telling the truth because lately a lot more things had became a part of me like a few things for example one of them being a girl I had just met yet already I was so in love with her.

 Kalee, she made me love just thinking of her name. When I hear it I smile because I think of her face. I don't know if it's weird to say that being that I had just met her less than a month, or a half a month, or a week but I didn't need time to tell that I loved her, I did and this time I didn't think it was one of those stupid petty phases where I think a girl is hot and then when she changes her look the feeling leaves, no it wasn't like that. I most genuinely liked her. Because she wasn't just like some other normal girl that walks the halls of school and goes on with her life and her day and is normal. Kalee is different I looked up at the ceiling. Maybe I should invite her over. I replied to myself in my head knowing that I wanted the answer to be yes, and it was well, if I was home alone then it would be a yes. I wasn't about to let my mother embarrass me in front of such a perfect girl because then I might scare her off. 

I got out of bed showing on a pair of shorts and going out into the rest of the house calling my mom and dad's name and for once I was happy that I didn't get a response. I smiled at myself looking out the window seeing the sun shining my parents must have been at work and they wouldn't be home till very late. I quickly ran back into my bedroom and grabbed my phone going to text Kalee inviting her over I texte her contact hoping that she would be awake so early at eight and surprisingly she was she texted back within the minute saying yes. As soon as I had seen the reply I knew that today was going to be a good day. 

I sat down on my couch waiting for another text from Kalee saying something about if she was coming, if she decided she had some where better to be, anything but I'd got nothing for the last thirty minutes now. Just as I was about to give up and be the one to contact first my phone began to ring and it wasn't a text. Quickly I picked up Kalee's call on the first rin that she wouldn't think it was weird that I had been awaiting her to call me or text me. 

"Hey!" I said happily and quickly. 

"Hi, Wassup?" She asked I laughed I already had a feeling I knew what she was calling about. 

"Let me guess? You need a ride?" I heard her laugh. 

"You've guessed correctly." She said. I laughed back.

"I'll be there soon see you then." I said hanging up the phone and going outside into my car. I knew that Kalee didn't have a car so thats why I knew what she was calling about. I knew that deep down I was hoping she would need a ride just so I could give her the ride in my car, something we'd never done before. Something that I haped we would have to many times more. 

"I swear to god Kalee!" I said as she got yet another point as we played call of duty. 

"What do you not play often?" She asked looking at me knowing that I hadn't even pulled out my Xbox since I was like 15 or 14."

"You know I don't" Kalee grinned. 

"I do." She said grinning. 

"What are you 14?" I asked she laughed.

"12 but close." She replied winning the round. I had been having such a good time with Kalee even if we had been doing nothing at all but playing games and eating all of the junk food we could find hidden away in the house. My phone started to ring I picked it up thinking it was my mom even though she shouldn't have been anywhere near close to getting home from work. Neither should have been my father. It was neither of them though, it was someone that I didn't expect nor want it to be. I went serious knowing that it could only mean one thing. I showed Kalee the number that was calling. She went serious as well. 

"Pick it up." She said I did as told. 

"Hello?" I asked. My heart dropped when I heard the news.
