Four.

Arlett and I was riding our car on our way back to house after groceries, we got stuck on a traffic, while littlest things' playing on the radio, we're singing along and Arlett is playing games on my phone, then suddenly my phone beeps and Arlett accidentally taped the Answer Button "We're both dead if that's my mom" I whispered...

"Hey Honey?" Oh, that's mom "Yes mom?" I answered, Arlett is trying to hold her laugh and i am trying to calm her down and puts on finger on her lips.

"Hey Sweetie, I haven't heard from you in a while. How are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm doing okay, thank you for checking out."

"I'm just wondering are you coming this Sunday? Harris and Sophia is coming." She tries to convince me, and Arlett is also trying to convince me to say yes, I can see her excitement through her eyes, but I think we're not ready.

"Uhm, Sorry mom, but I am very busy and I need to finish reading the book my friend told me to." Arlett got frustrated immediately and she's asking why not...

"Okay Hon, I just wish I can see you soon and your girlfriend that your brother mentioned, when can I meet her? I haven't met her yet I'm beginning to think she doesn't exist."

"What? No. I mean, yes. Soon, you'll meet her." Arlett got sad the rest of our ride home,

I decided to surprise her and ask Harris and his family to stay over tomorrow. Arlett immediately go to bed.

Harris just barged in the door which woke us both up, "what is it? What's happening?" Arlett asked in fright. "Nothing you're just hearing Harris making his classic entrance."

Harris and I are making barbeque while Arlett, Sophia and the baby is taking a swim. I am staring at them at a distant and Harris asked, "So that's her, Arlett?", "Yep." I answered.

"Man, she's beautiful."

"I know."

Arlett Whisk a water on me, "come and join us" She smiles,

I look at Harris and he nods. Arlett grabs my arm and drags me to the pool. Sophia let me carry the baby and Arlett is making funny faces to make the baby laugh. And she did great.

The day goes by and the night comes, Arlett decided to cook. After the dinner, "This is such a great meat 1oaf, probably the best i've ever had." Harris said, "Hey?!" Sophie looks at Harris, raising an eyebrow,

"Hey, What?" Harris asked, and we laugh.

"It's a family recipe I couldn't really take credit." said Arlett.

"So where's your parents?" Harry asked and leans in to Arlett at the table, she places her arm on the table and leans in to me

"my parents are gone when I was just a kid. My Dad died, when I was 8 and Mom left me when I was 12, she said she'll just go to work and she never came back, so I live with my grandparents." I rub Arlett's back.

Harris Apologized to Arlett, "Don't be. I am used to it, people always ask me."

"What a nice boys" Arlett said. "Growing two decent man, your parents sure did a fine job"

"Oh, no I think a person would have to do something pretty amazing to produce a good woman." Harris looks at me

"okay. Great. Uh, you guys like each other" I cut Harris to what he is saying and stand up. "Since it's getting late already, everybody did a great job. So i think Harris and family is ready to go now." I stare at them both

"he can be such a control freak sometimes." Arlett whispers to Harris and looks at me. And they both laugh, and i stare at them with distress.

I take Harris outside and he grabs my hand and drags me to get in his car. I take seat in the front, and Harris in the driver's seat, He closed the car door and make sure nothing's insight "THAT WAS INSAAAANE" He shouts. He holds on to the Wheel and bumps his back in the seat sways back and forth many times. "hey, calm down."

"This is insane." He looks at me and clasps his hands on his face.

"You manifested a woman with your mind. Man, Mom's gonna fucking freak out."

"whoa, no. You're not gonna tell mom."

"why not? Mom loves this new age shit."

"No, Harris Seriously, you can't tell anybody. Not mom, not Sophie. No one." Harris keeps talking he's really freaking out.

"This is Amazing how can I not tell?" He asks.

"They'll think she's a freak." I answered with calm voice.

"Oh what? We're just gonna pretend she's your girlfriend?" he cuts me.

"She is my girlfriend." Trying to convince Harris.

"Seriously?" Harris stops and stares at me. "Your girlfriend?"

"Why not? I mean stranger things have happened."

"I don't think so. I think this is the strangest thing that has happened. Ever."

"I don't care. I love her. Please don't ruin this for me. Promise me. No one." A moment of silence breaks in.

He nods and said fine.

"Thank you.", "Please tell me that you're not gonna let that go to waste." He said to me sincerely.

The time they left, I sat on my desk and Arlett taps my shoulder then I turn She ask me if I think they liked her. "He loved you."

She sits on my lap and wraps her arms around my neck then she kissed me, I hold her waist and pulled her closer, and kissed her deeper.
