Kageyama's POV

The Tuesday before the training camp 3:00pm

"Can Tobio and Shoyo please stay behind!"

Just as I'm about to get up and leave for Volleyball practise, When Our Science teacher, a British woman we are made to refer to as Ms McRobie calls us behind, she is quite short, at maybe 5'0, or even 4'11.

We go up to her desk, where she is waiting for us, obvious by the look on her face that she is wanting to talk to us about something serious.

"Thanks! Now, I have some rather poor news for the both of you, Now, at the staff meeting we had earlier today, most of your teachers agreed that you two have been falling behind in your studies..."

Hinata and i look at each other awkwardly, Knowing that we both hardly ever do our homework.

"And also, Where is your Homework!? You two never turn it in!"

Hahaha...

"I'm starting to think that this Volleyball club of yours is starting to take up a little too much time off both of your hands..."

"NonoNO"

We both start to bribe and convince her that the Volleyball club is not the reason for our lack of Creativity, which is quite pathetic for us...

"Then prove it"

She goes over to Two suspicious white plastic bags and hands them to us.

"These are all your Homework and Regular assignments that you haven't finished! I would believe you'd like to finish atleast 85% at MINIMUM of this bag if you'd like to continue your club activities...And even more importantly...If you want to go to that training camp of yo-"

Before Ms McRobie can even finish what she was saying, we take off to the library with our plastic bags full of homework, Ready to study in peace and quite...

1 hour later

"I just remembered....I've got my aunt coming tonight"

"How did you forget that!?"

"I didn't!"

We sigh in unison, I'd definitely like to be in the Gym playing Volleyball much more then doing our homework right here.

"I hope we get to go to the training camp..." Hinata bursts.

"I reckon we will, We need to get 85% of this bag done right?"

I then remember how much Work we have left to do and immediately regret my words.

I gaze over at Hinata who's gone back to going our Math homework.

I wonder i should ask him why he sounds so disappointed about his aunt visiting him?...But what if it's a sore subject to him? Oh god, I don't want to hurt him or anything....

"It's Natsu's first time on a plane tomorrow, I hope she enjoys it! She's been squealing about it all week, and she's made me read Plane stories to her every night since. I'd honestly rather be there then doing this stupid homework..."

"I swear to the higher up Hinata if you leave me here to suffer alone-"

"Well at least we don't have to pack up the Gym tonight"

"Good Point"

It's 8:00pm when we leave the Library, We begged to stay a little longer so we could finish the Math booklet we were doing.

I honestly think Ms McRobie threw in some extra work to test us aswell..

"I didn't think it would be so windy tonight" Hinata comments as we walk out of the school.

I will admit, it is extremely windy, I wouldn't be suprised if it starts raining soon.

"Do you think we'd really get held back from going to the camp if we don't get 85% done? Or was that just a really good threat?" Hinata asks me.

"Both...I think she was serious about the 85% part, But whether she is actually going to prevent us from going...I don't have a clue.."

"I just really want to g-"

"You've said that like a hundred times already Dumbass!"

"And!? It's true! I bet you don't wanna get held back either!"

I mumble under breath.

"Whatever Dumbass"

I sigh again.

"Night Hinata"

"See ya Kags!"

Friday afternoon 3:07pm

So basically what happened, is that Ms McRobie alowed us to go to the library during her lessons that we had over the week so we could finish up our homework bag. Which we manged to do, 85% each.

However, Our club left ealier today, So Hinata and I are allowed to catch the bus tomorrow at midday to Tokyo instead.

But as of right now, We are in the middle of a thunder storm, It is absolutely crazy out there. Windy as all fuck and the rain is just pouring down so badly you cant even see that well, Most students made a run for it out to their parents car, and some are planning on catching the school bus home instead.

I'm meant to be walking home....

But in this weather, Fuck it.

I notice Hinata sitting down under the verandah of the school, All alone.

I go and approach him, Sitting down right beside him.

"How are you getting home?" I ask him.

"Bike, but uh...."

"Yeah, I can see."

"You?"

"Walking"

"Why don't you catch the bus?

"Full"

"Oh"

"Why don't you call your mom or someone?" Hinata questions me.

"She's at work, She won't finish until 5pm" I reply to him.

"And!? Can't she still pick you up?"

"What about your aunt?!"

"I'm just gonna...Wait or whatever...I don't wanna disturb her..." Hinata remarks.

I am seriously wondering what happened for Hinata to act like this?

"Well, in that case, I'm gonna wait with you"

"Thanks Kageyama"

"You're welcome"
