Kageyama's POV
1:48am
"Hinata?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you sleep?"
"No..."
"Me either"
Hinata and I are huddled up together on my bed, It's freezing cold, And i dont think that the Thunderstorm outside is helping.
I'd say it's probably about 5°C
That and the Power is still out, Which is probably the worst downfall here,
We have 3 blankets each, and then under that there's my regular blanket, Both wearing layers and layers of clothes, and we're still both Freezing.
Seconds past and we hear an absolutely terrifying thud from outside.
It was louder then any lightning or Thunder I've heard before.
Actually, I think it was the loudest noise I've ever heard
We both jump out of bed faster then the speed of light and sprint downstairs.
For some reason my mother thought it would be a good idea to go to sleep with about 100 candles alone in the Living room, But hey, The rain would put it out anyway if our house burnt down
Just like idiots, We run outside into the absolutely freezing rain where there are a shocking amount of people wondering the same thing as us.
An oldish man approach us with a torch, I realize it's the 50 - Something year old man that lives alone next to us, who is almost always gardening right outside my window at 6am with a Lawnmower...On a Sunday morning
"Are you boys alright?" We managed to hear through the pissing rain.
"Yeah, But what was that?" Hinata replies to the Old Man, Shaking, and Very concerned
Before we can have our question answered some Neighbor across the road turns on his Car's Headlights so everyone gathered outside can see that...
The tree fell on the house.
A few other people do the same thing, creating enough light to see decently.
I can recall some of these neighbors right now.
-The old man
-The college girls that live together
-The business man
-Some Mother
-Some random 9 year old boy
-A married couple
-Random single lesbian
-Hinata and I
Actually, I think that's everyone out here..
Most people immediately run up to the house, After all, an elderly woman in her 90s just had her house colapse on top of her.
The Storm is still going absolutely wild, With lightning striking everywhere and Thunder rolling every Minute or so.
The Old man, The business man, and The college girls run inside the house, While the rest of us stand outside absolutely in awe.
"FUCK IT'S COLD" The 9 year old kid expresses, While dressed in his Minecraft Pyjamas Everyone mentally wondering where his parents are.
But it's true, I am freezing, I'm sure everyone is.
"HOLD ON I'M CALLING THE POLICE" The lesbian yells, getting out her phone, which must be waterproof or some satan shit
"I doubt the Police could even get here, It looks like the roads are all gonna flood, it's 2am, and we're in the middle of an approaching cyclone" Hinata expresses loud enough to draw attention from the others.
I watch him shiver as he exales a deep breath, Turning me into a Blushing mess over how cute he is.
I look over at the Lebian, who isn't having much luck with the Police.
Just then one out of the two College girls come running out of the house
"WE CAN'T GET TO HER, I THINK THE TREE'S CRUSHED THE MAJORITY OF HER BEDROOM, WE ONLY JUST MADE IT UP THE STAIRS"
People gather around her to listen, Then the other college girl and the business man come out to join her.
"Let's go" Hinata and I run further up to the house, to get a better look at the destroyed building.
Suddenly that one random old man comes out, holding his torch in one hand, and a cat in the other.
The 9 year old runs up to the old man, obviously spotting him as well.
"CAN I HAVE THE CAT"
The old man doesn't even answer before he hands the boy the cat, Whom now looks like he's won a Billion dollars.
The old man turns to us, "I don't think she made it, The tree has crushed the same side of the house as her bedroom, and we can't get access to it"
I didn't even know that elderly woman, But i seemed extremely concered considering that.
I see Hinata's face fall into a frown, Well, Frown? He just looks sad....
"T-thats...S-sad.." I see him shivering again, As well as his teeth chattering.
"Hinata, I Th-think that we should go home..."
I pull him away from the area, and guide him back to my house, We're both Freezing. And our Hot water is powered by Solar...So hahahahhahahahahaha I don't we'll be able to have a warm shower either...
Even though i didn't know that woman, I feel like the mood in the Neighborhood has dropped, because after all, She has lived her for about 40 years.
7:59am
"Kageyama?"
"Yeah?"
"That was freaky... Last night...."
After we got back home my mother was still sound asleep in her room, So Hinata and I got changed and went straight back to bed.
"That's not even the Worst, Tonight the Cyclone its self starts to hit"
The power is still out, and so's my mother.
Hinata and i get up and head out into the living room, Most, If not all of the food in the fridge has rotted, and We were already low on food when the storm hit, So this house isn't doing well for shit to eat
We look out the window to the backyard, And it's probably the windiest day yet, With Tree branches and rain flying around everwhere.
Even just touching the glass is enough to make your hand freezing cold, Hinata and I are still drapped in Layers of blankets.
"How much longer do you reckon this will last?" Hinata asks.
I feel a blush creep onto my face, But i still stare out the window, pretending to think.
"Dunno...A few more days Atleast...I reckon school will be cancelled tomorrow...."
"Yeah, Same here"
