14: Here we go

Kageyama's POV

Thursday

7:18pm

"Hinata really said all that?" I cough, As I'm walking home with Ennoshita and Yamaguchi on the night before we go to the Inter-High prelims.

Hinata had to go home a different way tonight, for some reason, which guves me a chance to finally talk with Ennoshita and Yamaguchi.

"Yeah, I have no idea who he was referring to though" Ennoshita replies, Fiddling with his hands.

"Hey Yamaguchi, When are you gonna confess to Tsukishima?" Ennoshita bursts, looking over to Yamaguchi.

"UH- I DUNNO?!?!????!?!??!??!??!? IF KAGEYAMA DOES IT I'LL DO IT!"

"OI! NO FAI-"

Ennoshita lets out a long and deep sigh, grabbing both of our attention.

"How about you BOTH confess after Inter-High is over, Soon enough right?" He suggests, giving of a small smile

"No!"

"Sure-"

Yamaguchi and i look at eachother.

I'm more then wiling to Confess to Hinata...I just want to make sure if i do tell him no one else finds out.

Especially my mother.

I told myself that i would confess to him after Inter-High was over, it seems like the best time to do so...

But what Hinata is Straight? And doesn't even like boys in the first place?

Ive been hoping this entire time that our team is made up full of gay people with Tanka as an exception...

I'm getting so worried, Inter-High starts tomorrow, and from there on in there will be no turning back for me

I have to confess my feelings to Hinata sooner or later

Because i doubt that they will go away at all

"No, That's not obvious at all Hinata...."

The whole team is waiting out the front of the school for Takeda and Coach Ukai to arrive with the bus that'll take us to Tokyo.

And I'm standing with Hinata while he's bouncing off thin air, Which is quite the opposite to what he's usually like, Sick and Nervous...

Oh, Takeda's here with the bus

We all push and shove our ways onto the bus, And I'm trying to follow Hinata, So i can sit next to him.

And Thankfully, I do, These seats are all 2-Seaters so I give up the Window to Hinata While i sit in the aile...Right across from Yamaguchi and Tsukishima...With Yamaguchi looking like he's gonna explode...

I wonder if he has another erection....

I think Tanaka or Ennoshita is behind me and I know that Nishinoya and Asahi are both sitting in front of me.

But I'm stilll amazed that Hinata isn't Dying of nervousness...

"Hey Dachi! Who's our first match against?" Nishinoya pipes up

Inter-High 1st Day

5 more minutes.....

Our team is warming up out on the court while we wait for our opponents to come out, Which is Date Tech, AKA 'The Iron Wall'

We versed them back a few months ago during the previous Inter-High, Which we ended up winning, But losing to Aoba Jonsai.

I'm looking fowards to using our Quicks this Match, It's always something fun to watch the other's reactions to it.

Even if we've used it before against them...

Oh, There they come, With that Angry-Bird looking thing.

Now, The match is starting

My Serve...

I run up and Jump, Serving the ball over to the other side.

It gets received.

Once it's pushed over the net Dachi recieves it and the ball heads over to me...

I see Tanaka running up, I set the ball over to him which he spikes perfectly over into their court

1-0

I run up and jump for my serve again, Which is received and spiked into our court

Nishinoya manages to get it back up into the air which is directed over to me.

I once again set it over to Tanaka, Who spikes it, Only to be received Once again by there Libero....And right into our court.

We win the first set, Mainly because Nishinoya was able to get the balls back into the air, However Thier blocks were pretty good, Like regularly

It's break, and we actually didn't use any of our time outs this set, Which is pretty good I guess.

I did get distracted about half way through this set though, As i was staring at Hinata.

But other then that, I did a pretty good job

Damn, The're one point ahead.

If we win this set then the game is over, and we've won the match against Date Tech.

Hinata's in now....

I don't even notice the serve that bursts in towards Daichi, Who recieves it up over towards me, But i get it up again, And set it over to Asahi, Who hits it with pure force, But that get's recieved by Date Tech.

It comes back over to us, and Nishinoya manages to get it up to Tanka, Who goes ahead and straight up spikes it over.

Only to get it Recieved by Date Tech.....

Asahi recieves it perfectly, and gets the ball up and over to me....

Hinata and I lock eye contact

We're gonna do the Quick

I set it up

And before anyone can even see anything The ball has been spiked over into the opponents Court.

We're almost there

Asahi Serves it Over into the Court, Which they Recieve, Set up.

And Spike

....

Right into the net

25-24

We won

And that was close, Extremely close

But we won.

Now time to see who we're going up against tomorrow....
