Chapter 3: Sidney

(Sidney's POV)

"What is it Keighlee?" I asked "They-are-vampires?" she said out loud without knowing. "Keighlee? What are you talking about?" I ask. She laughs a little "Heh, nothing I will be back with something to eat, okay? Bye, I will be back." She said while she closed the door behind her. "Huh. She's acting strange. Oh well, I should probably get ready. Ugh, why am I talking to myself? I do this all the time." I walked to the closet and I was startled by what I saw. "A-Ayato! What are you doing. . . in my closet?" He smiled, "Well, what are you," he pointed at me." Doing in your closet?" I rolled my eyes, walked away, and said, "What do you think? It's, what, 7, 8? I should have been up several hours ago." Ayato chuckled. "You really think, that it's 7 or 8? Heh, god, you mortals are so stupid. It's 11." "WHAT?!?!?! It's 11?!?!? I have so much to do! I have to get ready, and eat, and get Keighlee, and she has to get ready, and we have to study for class, and- oh god. I'm going to die." He walked over to me where I flopped on my bed. "I can help with that." He laid next to me and kissed my cheek. He rolled over and pinned me against my bed. "But. . . I suppose I shouldn't. You and your, friend, probably want to stay how you are, mortal and all." I pulled him down and rolled on top of him. I smiled, "Ya. . . no. I will not allow you to leave me mortal as long as you are alive." I kissed him as he tried to object. He pulled me close. Someone cleared their throat. "I hope I am not seeing what I think I am seeing. Anyway, Sidney, it's time for you to get ready. It's eleven 'o'clock and you look like you just woke up." I got up and turned only to find Reigi. Ayato got up, standing behind me with his hands on my waist. "Who are you to say she should get ready right now anyway? And besides, at least I don't creep into a girl's room without knocking." "Oh? So, you did knock before coming in here, and you didn't come during the middle of the night and stand in the closet?" Rigi said pointing to the closet. "Shut up! I did what I wanted to do! I wanted to surprise pancake 3." Ayato said standing up. Then they both left, but Ayato said something before he left. "I won't let you get away this time." He said and winked and then left. "Hey. I am back." Keighlee said coming to the door. I was staring off into space. "Oh hey, sorry I didn't see you there," I said finally realizing she was there. "Yeah, okay, here have a chocolate donut." She said handing me the treat. "Thanks!" I said taking a bite out of it. Shu then came in when Keighlee was changing in the closet just in case anyone came in not knowing. "Where is Keighley?" Shu asked me, he was painting and had a worried look on his face. "She is changing in the closet so no one sees her," I say pointing to the closet. He walks over to it and sees through the crack in the door. Thank God she had her shirt on by the time. The only thing she didn't do because it hurts her fingers is button her shirt up. Ayato came in, Rigi, and Subaru while I was buttoning her shirt. "Come on pancakes can't be late for school can we." At least he is back to normal and not like he was when he left the room before Keighlee came in. I thought to myself, "Wow, your thoughts are so nice." Ayato said to me. "I will hurt you if you don't stop reading my freaking mind!" I said in his face just inches from mine. "You feel... like you are in love around him." Subaru said nudging my shoulder. I slapped Ayato than Subaru because they were being jerks, then I kick Ayato lightly on the shin. As the boys walked out, I helped her button the last few buttons and we left.
