Chapter 6: Learning the Truth

(Keighlee's POV)

I starts running down the hall and into the bedroom. "Keighlee! Are you okay? What happened?" Sid asks while being shaken up by me barging in like that."They are just using us for food! They don't really care! Well, except for Subaru, Ayato, and one more I think." I say while walking to my bed. "You think?" Sid asks, "look right now I can't think straight, so you are going to have bare with me until I have this figured out." I say getting up and pacing back and forth.

"Hey you guys it's dinner time come and eat." Laito says through the door. "Liato is normal now so we should be good." Sidney says getting to the door. I get dressed into that skinny dress Shu got me, I think I have flats to with it but who cares! I just need to figure this out. Sidney walked over to the door and threw on a mini skirt and a tank top. "I hope you believe me Sid. I wouldn't lie to you about something like that. And you know it," I say. "I-I do believe you, I just don't know if that's the whole story. And besides, I don't think Ayato and Subaru would do that to us. Oh yeah, I forgot to ask who was the other person? Maybe we can ask them after dinner or something, I don't know we'll see," Sidney said."okay, but what would what would happen after that? I really hope that we can get this figured out though." I said holding the door for Sid.

We both walk down to dinner to see the boys waiting for us. I walked past the boys that were forced to do this to us. Their heads were hung so that we couldn't see their faces. When we were eating dinner, silence filled the room. "So," Reiji broke the silence. "I've been told you two have found out the truth? I'm sure you have questions, but--" "Actually, we really didn't. I mean, sure it's weird, but we've lived here for weeks now and we haven't noticed a thing," I replied."Sure you didn't, your friend figured it out the hard way." Ayato said. Fudge on a stick, he remembered that? Well, it was like a day ago, I thought to myself. "Of course I would remember that, but the two of us were forced into this." Ayato continued, "You are probably wondering, was there more forced into this. My answer, maybe." He said leaving the dinner table. We all then left, Sidney went to go to take a shower and I just sat in my room waiting for her to get out so I can go in and shower. About 5-10 minutes later she showed up. "Wow, you took long." Then I noticed something, there was something red going down her shoulder, it was liquid though. "Sorry if I...worried you." She said in a soft voice. I think she is light headed. I thought to myself. Then, Sidney just suddenly collapsed. "Sidney! Wake up! Sidney!" I said trying to pick her up and put her on her bed. Wow she is too heavy for me to pick up. I thought, then her hair moved and I saw the two bite marks. "Oh no they didn't. They freaking bit her!" I said getting up, I was so pissed off that I called everybody to the living room to chat about the problem. "Who bit her?" I asked once everyone was settled. "Not me" Ayato said, with a guilty face on. "No more, Sid and I are leaving here, we are done with all ya'lls bullcrap." I said and then left, but then I stopped. "Who else was forced into the food thing? Tell me now if you want to live." I said getting Subaru's knife from my Jean pocket. Kanato started laughing really hard until he looked at my hand. "Where did you get that?" Subaru asked, now standing. "Just answer the question." "Fine. The other person is Shu." Subaru said. Just then Shu showed up, I looked into his blue eyes and there comes a pain stronger than ever. "Ugh, it...hurts!...what...are you doing...to...me! Shu, answer me!" I said and then coughed up blood, then I lost my vision. When I woke up Shu was there, Ayato, Subaru, Sidney, and Liato were there. I closed my eyes don't have to feel that pain again. "Keighlee, can you see me?" Sidney said after I opened my eyes again. "Yeah I can see a little better." I sat up and saw a puddle of something. I still couldn't see everything yet. "What happened?" I asked her. "All you did was look at Shu and you started to cough up blood. It was not a lot of blood but you should get to your bed. Need help?" Sidney said helping me up. "That was scary. Watching you almost die, I thought that they would attack you after you coughed up blood. That was when I came." Sid said as we turned to our doorway.
