Tessa's POV:

So Jake has this every morning routine where he wakes me up every morning but as a prank. I kind really like it because it's my own human alarm clock, now tell me how is that not cool? This morning, he lotion slapped me on my face, I got really pissed haha. I got ready for the day and realized that I have no plans so I just sat on the couch downstairs on my phone when I suddenly got a text from Neels. Neels is a really nice, down to earth type of guy, ya know? And I think it's pretty cool. He sent me a text asking me to go to the beach with him tonight @8:00pm. I was kinda confused for the time was really late so I asked him "yea but why so late?" "It's just quieter at night" he responded. Then Jake walked in...

Jake: "what's up" he asked me

Tessa: "nothing really" I replied

Jake: "are you still pissed at me?" He asked

Tessa: "nah..I'm over it"

Jake: "that's my girl!" He laughed.

Tessa: "that's my boy" we both laughed.

Jake: "so your just gonna sit on the couch whole day?" He asked sarcastically.

Tessa: "yea but actually I'm going to the beach with Neels tonight"

Jake: "dope, but at night tho?"

Tessa: "yea apparently so"

Jake: "alright well be safe and careful, someone can rob you there. I've heard it's pretty quiet on the beach at night" he warned me.

Tessa: "yea I've got a taser and pepper spray in my purse" I winked

Jake: *winks back*

Night rolled by...

Neels: "hey Tessa, I'm downstairs" he texted her.

Tessa: "ok be there in a split" she texted back

Neels: "alright you ready?" He asked her as she got in the car

Tessa: "yea" she replied

Neels: "well you look beautiful tonight"

Tessa: "aww thanks Neels but I'm literally wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants" she laughed

Neels: "true but you still look amazing" he complimented her.

Tessa: "thanks Neels" she softly punched his arm.

*they got to the beach, spread a blanket on the sand and just layed there looking up at the stars in the sky, 45 minutes of them both talking passed by*

Neels: "Tessa?" He asked

Tessa: "yea?"

Neels: "can I tell you something?"

Tessa: "umm yea sure what is it?"

Neels: "I like you" he said nervously

Tessa: "really? Umm well that escalated quickly"

Neels: "I'm so sorry I should've just kept it to myself" he explained.

Tessa: "no, no, no Neels it's fine, I like you too"

Neels: "really?"

Tessa: "yea, I always have"

*kinda smutty*

*they started making out and Neels lips moved down to Tessa's neck forming a hickey on her neck then made his way back up to her lips. After a while they were interrupted by a text from Jake*

Jake: "hey Tess, hope I'm not interrupting your date but the entire house is gonna watch a movie and we really wanna wait for you, you down?" He texted her.

Tessa: "yea I'm down, I'll be home in 15 minutes" she replied.

Neels: "everything okay?" He asked.

Tessa: "yea perfect but I gotta go home now"

Neels: "okay c'mon lets go"

Jake's POV:
The entire team 10 house decided to have a movie night at home. We all wanted to wait on Tessa so I texted her and she said that she'd be home in 15 minutes. While waiting I went into her room looking for one of her camera batteries to borrow, I found myself on her balcony just admiring view, when suddenly they pulled up in Neels car. I immediately ducked down to prevent them from spotting me thankfully they didn't see me but I saw them give each other a goodbye kiss which lasted at least 10 seconds. I quickly ran down stairs and sat on the couch with the others so it wouldn't seem weird. She walked in the door.

Tessa's POV:
We pulled up and we gave each other a goodbye kiss which lasted at least 10 seconds. I entered the door and exclaimed

Tessa: "I'm home!"

Everyone: " hey Tessa c'mon we almost had to start the movie without you!"

Tessa: "okay, okay I'm coming"

The only available seat was next to Jake so I sat next him with my legs stretched out on his lap. I totally forgot about the hickey that Neels gave me, I was kinda embarrassed to let it show so I tried my best to keep my hand over it as much as possible but then Erika's phone slid off the couch and I said..

Tessa: "it's okay Rik, I'll get it"

When I stretched to get it Erika replied with

Erika: "damn Tess, one date and you managed to get a hickey already?" She laughed

Everyone's eyes immediately landed on my neck, I noticed Jake staring at it the longest without any facial expressions, his face was just blank, he touched it and examined it and said..

Jake: "yo it's fresh" he chuckled.

Tessa: "well no shit Jake" I laughed jokingly.

Everyone continued normally with the movie. Did I mention that it was a horror. No I didn't but every time a scary part popped up I'd jump closer to Jake with one arm around his arm and the other covering my eyes. We finished the movie and everyone went upstairs but I stayed downstairs on the couch afraid to move. I ended up laying on the couch for a long while. It was now 2:37 am in the morning and I was still awake because I was scared. When I suddenly heard footsteps leading down the stairs, I was immediately alerted and afraid so I hid under the blankets because silly me of course thought it was a ghost..

Jake: "Tessa?!" He asked

Tessa: "Jake?" I also asked.

Jake: "yea..what are you doing on the couch?" He asked curiously.

Tessa: "I was afraid of the movie"

Jake: "then why didn't you just go by Erika?"

Tessa: "I don't know I guess I just didn't want anyone thinking that I'm still scared of horror movies"

Jake: "it was kinda obvious that you still are" he chucked.

Tessa: "really?"

Jake: "yea..but you could've just come to me I won't judge you Tessa and you know that. If you told me I would've probably slept on the floor in your room or something"

Tessa: "really, you'd do that for me?"

Jake: "of course Tessa, your one of my favorite persons and you know I don't have many of those" he chuckled.

Tessa: "so what'd you come down here for?"

Jake: "water"

Tessa: "ohh"

*he went into the kitchen drank some water and layed on the couch with Tessa. Tessa's head was basically by his feet and his feet were basically on top of Tessa's head. They both fell asleep.
