"Did You Cheat?"

Tessa's POV:
*Later on that day*
I was still in the office. I didn't want to move because I couldn't stand to face Jake, he disgusts me. Yeah, I know I was technically wrong in the fight situation and don't get me wrong, he has every right to be upset with me but he could've at least let me explain. Chance kissed me and held me tight enough so that I couldn't pull away!

Like I said, I was chilling in the office on my computer when Chance enters the room.

Chance: "hey" he said feeling bad for what he had did last night.

Tessa: "hey" I replied normally as if nothing had happened.

He pulled a chair and sat at my desk with me.

Chance: "so I saw the tweets"

Tessa: "mhm" I mumbled.

Chance: "look I'm sorry for kissing you, okay? I just couldn't resist, I guess I just wanted you all to myself and I didn't think it'd make you and Jake then against eachother, I sorry Tessa" he said looking down playing with his fingers.

Tessa: "you don't have to apologize, I hate Jake so much"

Chance: "see, I can't help but blame myself for you hating him because you didn't hate home before I kissed you.."

Tessa: "but what if I liked that kiss?"

Chance: "well, did you?"

I leaned in and kissed him, again.

Tessa: "does that answer your question?"

Chance: "yea, it definitely did!" He said smiling.

Tessa: "good"

Chance: "you want to go out to get your mind off things?"

Tessa: "please, let's go" I said grabbing my phone and car keys.

I handed chance my keys indicating him to drive.
We both get in the car and hung out for the entire day doing a bit of shopping and random funny shit.
It was one of the best days that I've had in a long while, and we may or may not have shared another kiss while we were out.

We both walk back in the house using the front door, laughing and smiling with a few bags in our hands. Usually when someone opens the front door, it makes a 'ding' noise, and it did. Jake came out of the office with his phone in his hand to see who entered. He looked up from his phone to see Chance and I unintentionally holding hands and laughing with one another. He stared at us without saying a word for a solid good few seconds, Chance and I just stared back silently until Jake walked away rolling his eyes.

I saw that he tweeted this almost instantly after he walked back into the office.

He tweeted back.

People starting spamming our social media's asking why we've been acting so weird but we didn't pay attention to it.

Then Nick calls me only the office where Jake is.

Tessa: "yea?"

Nick leaves the room without saying a word and closes the door behind him.

Tessa: "wtf?!" I said confused.

Jake: "you haven't moved on, huh?"

Tessa: "how could I so soon?"

He shook his head.

Jake: "a picture of you and Chance kissing at the grove is all over twitter, what do you mean you haven't moved on?!" He said slightly yelling, tearing up.

I checked my phone and was in shock.

Tessa: "why is this even any of your business, weren't you over me just this morning? You said you can't believe you ever loved me! Chance was there to bring me back up when you hurt me!"

He remained quiet for a few seconds with tears in both our eyes.

Jake: "were you cheating on me with Chance when we were together, Tessa?" He asked with this voice slightly cracking here and there.

Tessa: "I'd never do that to you and you know it!" I yelled in shock of what he just asked me.

Tessa: "did you cheat on me?" I asked concerned and scared to hear his response

Jake: "I was head over heals for you, why would I?"

I got up and left.
