"Love Interest"

Jake's POV:
I wake up next to Tessa, staring at the ceiling. She looked like she was thinking. I turned onto my side to face her.

Jake: "what are you thinking about?" I ask staring at her.

Tessa: "oh nothing"

Jake: "planning on getting out of bed today?"

Tess: "yea, to shower then I'm crawling back into bed..."

I got up and dragged her off the bed.

Jake: "come with me on set today, take things off your mind"

Tessa: "I don't know..."

Jake: "I'm not taking no for an answer" I saw crossing my arms.

Tess: "ugh fine"

Jake: "great, get ready"

30 minutes later...

She comes downstairs wearing one of my hoodies.

Tessa: "let's just go" she said with a dull expression.

I lead her out the door.

We arrived at Disney.

We go into my dressing room and chill for a while until they called me on set.

Ethan came in as per usual.

Ethan: "hey jake and...Tessa"

Tessa: "hey" she said again with no expression.

Ethan: "everything okay?" He asks looking at her then to me for an answer.

Jake: "she just went through a breakup"

Ethan: "shit, sorry to hear that Tessa"

She just nods.

Jake: "what time do we have to be on set?" I asked Ethan.

Ethan: "9:00 am" he responded.

I nod and we all sat there in silence for a minute until Ethan broke it.

Ethan: "so you sure your Tessa Brooks, right?"

Tessa: "umm..yea? Why?" She asked confused while remained silent to see where this was going.

Ethan: "well I mean it's ironic that Jake never stops talking about. I swear everything is Tessa this, Tessa that. It can be cute sometimes but really annoying at the same time" he said with a smile and a cheerful tone.

She blushed. Well at least he brightened up her mood a bit but I add.

Jake: "Ethan! You short piece of shit" I joked with him as we play fought.

Tessa just sat there with a slight smile on her face. It was nice to see her smile again.

The producer knocked and entered my dressing room.

Producer: "guys we have some bad news...Sarah, the girl who's supposed to play Dirk's love interest in today's episode just got into an accident and yea that's bad enough but w edits have anyone to replace her role"

Ethan: "oh! Tessa can take her role!" He said excited but didn't show it much.

Jake: "yea Tessa's an actress, that's good thinking Ethan"

Producer: "we'll need her to audition first"

Jake: "Tessa, are you down?"

Tessa: "why not"

Jake: "great just follow Jeff, the producer to audition, your gonna get the role by the way because hey don't have a choice at this moment" I whispered.

She left the room.

Jake: "your such a good wingman" I chuckle

Ethan: "I know but you can make it up to me by getting me a date with Erika!"

Jake: "I'll think about it" I say stroking my chin.

A while later they came back.

Jake: "so..?"

Producer: "she's really good at acting, she got the role but get ready we're late for set"
