"Friends With Benefits"

Jake's POV:
I woke up and Tessa was gone. I got irritated and got off the bed rubbing my eyes. I showered and got ready. I went downstairs. I saw Tessa standing in the kitchen looking as beautiful as ever. I approached her.

Jake: "well someone's looking even cuter today" I said because she was dressed up.

Tessa: "Jake you overslept and why are you in your merch? We have a meeting! Go change into something more formal" she said

Jake: " I think this is good" is said smiling confidently.

She held my hand and dragged me up the stairs and into my closet.

Tessa: "here" she said as she handed me some decent clothes

Jake: "thanks Tess" I say smiling stupidly.

Tessa: "go change, I'll pick you out some shoes" she said stooping down looking at all of my shoes.

I exited the closet and left the door open while she looked at my shoes. I was changing by my bed until she picked a pair of shoes and turned her body to face me.

Tessa: "whao put on some clothes" she laughed while covering her eyes with the shoes.

Jake: "nothing you haven't seen before" I chuckled and she laughed.

When I got dressed she handed me my shoes and I sat on my bed putting them on. She went downstairs and told me to hurry up because we were gonna be late. I walked downstairs and the entire team 10 was waiting at the bottom of the stairs impatiently. As I walked down fixing my watch on my hand I hear them complimenting me.

Anthony: "ooo Jakey's looking fly as hell today"

And everyone agreed.

Jake: "well Tessa picked out my outfit so give her the creds" I say winking.

Erika: "alright c'mon we can talk about this in the van we're gonna be late" she said

*After the meeting*

We all went out for lunch because we were hungry. I sat down at the big round table and Tessa sat next to me, everyone took there seats around the table. We were all socializing with each other when suddenly I feel a slight connection between Tessa and I's hand under the table. Our hands grew together and and we looked at eachother and smiled. Everyone at the table saw us smile at eachother and they all reacted.

Erika: "yo is jessa making a comeback?" She asked intriguingly.

Everyone started making jessa comments and we separated our hands.

Anthony: "I saw that" Anthony said trying to be smart.

Tessa: "saw what?" She giggled.

Anthony: "you two holding hands underneath the table" he said.

Jake: "so can't friends hold each other's hands?"

Kade: "I mean I guess but y'all aren't just friends tho"

Tessa: "then what are we" she said looking me in the eyes and back to Kade.

Kade: "well you said that your not dating so I'd like to call it friends with benefits" he said nodding his head.

Chad: "honey you two hit" he said laughing at Kade's comment.

Jake: "call it whatever you want but at the end of the day we're just friends"
