A boat. Apparently that's all that Dehaka needed to get to the portal.
The problem with this was. There were no boats at the dock in the human city of Fremantle Newer. Several signs pointed to the commuter zone of the dock. But there were no boats and there wouldn't be for another 20 minutes. So Dehaka did the unspeakable.
He sat down on the dock.
10 minutes to go and Dehaka began thinking about everything that has lead him here and the questions that filled his head. Where was the last Shadow Hunter? What had caused his arm? And why did he mention needing company to the Halfling? Did he need company? Or was that just fatigued desperation? Either way he knew where he was going to travel to. A place the Orcs respected for its hardy nature. He would travel to Russia. Then to Scotland. To fight and drink to the last drop.
The boat had arrived once he'd worked out his plan. A small dwarf sailed the vessel.
"How much for the fair across?" Dehaka crouched to speak at eye level.
"Fairs free, drinks on the house, fighting is the only paid part of the ship. 4 gold a match."
"I'll take 2 fights." Dehaka grunted and chucked the coins at the dwarf. The first fight was a sword duel against a cocky Atilian. Who Dehaka dispatched with ease. Slamming his blade's hilt into the back of the elves head. The elf was dragged off to the infirmary and the next challenger stood up. And large Wolfman with no weapon.
"We doing this bare knuckle?" Dehaka spat blood out of his broken tooth.
The Wolf nodded and removed his shirt.
"This should be good" Dehaka charged at the Wolf. Swung with his left arm then his right. The Wolf jabbed Dehaka's chest. Staggering the Orc. Only for a second did Dehaka stop to plan ahead. Then he stopped thinking and swiped the wolf's legs. Following up with a punch to keep him in the air. And knock him out of the Arena. The Wolf stood up. "Dehaka was it?" He asked.
"Indeed. You're an impressive fighter where are your weapons?" Dehaka handed the Wolf his gear.
"I use my hands or a staff. Both are easy to wield."
"Where are you travelling to?" Dehaka muffled as he put his shirt on.
"Nowhere in particular. Do you require company?"
"If you can fight like that. I'd rather have you an ally than an enemy. You want to join me on my way?"
The Wolf reached out a paw. "Dits"
Dehaka shook. "I knew it'd be dumb. Bloody Wolf translations.Leaving the boat. Dehaka and Dits walked towards the biggest portal.
The portals on each world are a nexus for traveling the collection, whilst Earth has the largest portals each is able to occupy 100 people in one jump.
"Shall we?" Dits asked facing the portal.
"How does it work?" Dehaka touched the green waves in front of him.
"Think about where you want to go and walk through. Russia you said?"
"Yeah. Russia." Dehaka walked forwards towards the hole.
"Alright then. Odd creature." Dits took 2 steps back and charged into the portal. Pulling Dehaka into it with him.If this space could be described it would be that everything felt empty and full at the same time. Cramped, yet spacious. And Dehaka fell towards a window that looked like a forest.
Which he then smashed through...
