Marcus kept his continues stepping, getting dry mouthed, getting tired. He wanted to rest of his endless march, but he had to continue on. He had to find former king Gottfried. He had to get revenge on Malraadia, he promised it. Every step felt like a knife piercing his skin. He felt every painstaking step he dared to take. He took a step around a corner and a fiery light stabbed his eyes in an instant. The light cut through the dark abyss surrounding his torch. His eyes dilated for a good thousand seconds for what it felt like.

After the sudden assault of his eyes, he saw the opening he has been praying for, he saw green and white. Perfect.

He walked towards the opening, still with some pain but his happiness canceled most of it out. He got up to the opening, much larger than he expected, looking out to the amazing and lush forest looming below an amazing white city skyrocketing up in the sky. The sunlight was so much more great here, the wildlife flourishing, he could easily just live in this place and be happy forever.... But no, he has to follow his promise. He jumped down the rather low fall off and continued off onto his journey to find the former king.

He walked through the lush forest, surprisingly way more spry than he thought, with all the animals, even tigers, just really minding their own business. A couple of surprised stares, but nothing to really worry about. This place and environment was so different than what he has ever seen, and only just across mountains..

Marcus kept walking admiring the amazing paradise that surrounded him, slowly advancing to the grand city that towers over the forest itself. After what felt like 1 hour, he gets to the white, glistening, city. He walks out of the dark green, lush forest and found himself surrounded by farms and crops growing grandly near the stone street he was walking on. The people there were a little... Different, than the usual person, but, that's fine.

Marcus walks up to the large, wooden gate and spots a dozen or two guards atop the walls. He seeks to hail by waving his hand across his head like a wave but only once to have them open the gates, the guards stand there, blankly and just stay where they are. Marcus doesn't understand why they don't comply or at least seek if they should, he decides to speak to them somehow.

"Hey!!! Did you see my hail!!" Boomed Marcus with a nice tone just a loud volume.

The guards just stayed there anyway, like they are ignoring him. Maybe they didn't hear, this time he yelled his hardest to see if they'll hear this time, Marcus sucks in as much air as he could to yell.

"*Gasp* H--"

"whoa there friend, you don't need to make everyone's ears bleed. Hahaha."

Marcus replied "Well, how else am I going to get in?"

"Looks like you have a lot to learn about boy." Responded a large man with a bushy white beard that almost surrounded his face.

"what?" questioned Marcus, he thought he knew perfectly well. He went to the best teaching school in his Capitol.

The large man raised his fist in the air, and to Marcus's surprise, the guards responded back with the same fist raise. The man walked in front of Marcus and waved his right hand below his chest, and with a glow of red on the gateway and the mans hand, it opened with the same motion of the mans movement. Marcus was astonished to see such a thing, were the men so trained they know exactly how people want it to open. What is their mechanics, their gears, their blueprints??

"Follow me friend." Said the large man as he waved Marcus over.

Marcus jogged towards the large man confused.

"I can see you don't know what Alformation is. Do you know any type of magic friend?"

Marcus wasn't buying this parlor trick. obviously "Alformation" is just a word he just made up to excuse what he just saw.

"No no no, i'm not buying that. Come on, give me the real answer." Commanded Marcus, still used to his kingly ways. He saw a second of fire in the mans eyes.

"Hahahaha... I thought you would say something like that," Bellowed the man "if you want to see that I speak the truth I can show you. Tell me, what do you want me to do, and I almost guarantee that I could do it."

Marcus wasn't going to get fooled this time, he was going to say what he wanted and keep the keenest eye he could do. Like a hawk.

"Make a sword appear in thin air. No tricks, not objects, no hats, buddy." Commanded Marcus.

The man laughed in amusement and began the spell. He raised his hands in the air to show that there was nothing there, and showed his sleeves open to show that there was nothing there either. Afterwards, he waved his hands in a special way and closed his eyes, after a purple mist started appearing from nothing, and a handle started to appear in flames and every second the floating weapon was gaining more of its body. After a few seconds the large man had a finely crafted sword in his hands with still some purple mist and flame flowing from the sword.

"What?!" Yelled Marcus, flabbergasted.

"Haha.. boy, this is conjuring... The magic to summon things from nothing. One of my favorites I got to say."

"How... How did you.." Mumbled Marcus in amazement.

"Its using your energy you trained for years and put it to some good use boy." Responded the large name as he made the sword vanish into nothing with the same purple mist and smoke burst out and float into the bright, blue sky.

"What... Whats your name?" Asked Marcus, wide eyed.

"Gottfried my good pal." Responded the former king as he bellowed in a laugh.

Marcus continued, "wait... YOUR'E THE FORMER KING OF CALADRIA!!"

"oh... Well... Yes, somewhat.... How do you know that?" Responded Gottfried

"I'm the new king of the kingdom. The Malraadian King completely destroyed the capitol." Replied Marcus, standing up straight like he was taught after he slouched fro the show he witnessed.

"What!! The Capitol is destroyed!!" Boomed the former king Gottfried.

"Why don't you help me a little to fight back." Responded Marcus

"No, not right now. First you need to know a couple of skills." Requested Gottfried
