Alcred walks down the Lava Barrens with a huge tornado wind in his face, feeling like several weeks maybe even a month since he left the barrens, luckily all that money came to use to him, he was also luckily the cloth wrap around his face stopped most of the damage. it was great to have a potion to make all the burning to just feel like a nice grass. He endlessly walked down the barrens until the wind died down, and he saw a large forest down the hill he was on. He went on a sprint, and this time he was perfectly hydrated, no hallucinations here.

He gets to the forest and found several animals wondering around the forest, surprisingly not paying much attention to him, maybe some odd stares but nothing to get scared about. He continues down the dirt road, and finds a huge, white, grand city that makes Alcred gaze in awe. He decides to approach the grand city to see if he can get any help to where he is. He approaches the gates and sees a few guards on the walls.

"Hello!? Could you help me in!?" Yelled Alcred.

As he yelled that, the guards didn't even flinch, or even notice him at all. They just stayed there staring straight down the sky.

"Hey!!!" Boomed Alcred again, getting a little annoyed at the Elves.

Again the Elves do nothing, but they seem a little annoyed now. Alcred had to think about the hail sign for Elves. If Alcred remembered, the Elven guards respond to a fist in the air if he was correct. Alcred did that exactly, and the guards, looked down and showed the same sign. How they saw what he did, he will never know, but the giant gates swung open, allowing him to go in. As he walked in he saw two stone roads to walk, he decides to go to the left and follow the stone street above. He finds plenty of white granite houses, but also spots a large msit of purple down past several tall houses, to Alcred it seemed like Conjuring mist, but why would anyone have to Conjure so much to make such a large msit. He had to investigate, he heads down the stone road, with a cold chill down his back from the potion working in a place that isn't boiling hot. He hurries down the street next to the tall walls and several Elves farming in their mini farms or gardens, or Elves working on their fighing moves, apperantly today was a very busy day. He heads Right of the street and finds a large Marketplace square, with a house made of MoonStone with a large mist flowing behind the house, and a large man walking down the square seeming to head towards the house.

"Hello there, would you happen to know what is going on behind that house?" Questioned Alcred.

"Ah," Responded the large man, stroking his burly beard with his freehand not holding the large stack of books, "I knew someone would take notice of that mess, but I didn't know it would be a human. Yes, come in. I believe I know who is practicing."

The large man gestured Alcred to follow as he opened the door to the rather wide house with a wooden roof. Alcred hurried to catch up to the surprisingly fast large man. They opened the back door to find a large hurricane of purple mist flooding out of the little pocket of a door. Alcred felt the cold mist of purple as his potion effects were wearing off.

"Looks like we have a true wizard on our hands!" Bellowed the large man as he laughed to his own joke.

"Hah, yep, aren't I just the best Conjurer... I do got to say though, it takes some time to get the sword you want, but I feel quite good about this sword. *Cough* *Cough*"
Said a man that Alcred couldn't even see yet while the large man walked into the caverness whole of violet purple, as he could breathe in the fresh smithy smell that come from the mist swirling around the empty house.

As the mist cleared away, trying to escape the crowded space that was the door, he saw the large man inspecting a sword and a man that he felt like he should remember. The black man turned to see him, with a large smile on his face.

A smile didn't seem to fit him; Alcred thought.

"Alcred!! I knew that we would find each other again, though not this fast." Said the man,

"This is Marcus, but, i'm guessing that you two have already met." Stated Gottfreid

"Yes, we do. How are you doing Marcus?" Responded Alcred

"Oh i'm doing quite fine, what happened to you? You look like a bandit."

"Well, I kind of am. After I saved you, they figured out and have me exiled to the Lava Barrens. Luckily the Valraadian's helped me out or else I would have died there."

"Odd" Replied Gottfried, "Valraadians usually don't help out people other than themeslves."

"Well, I guess i'm lucky." Responded Alcred.

"Hmm. Anyway, what are you going to do Alcred?" Asked Marcus.

Alcred replied, "I don't know... I guess I can go with you guys and hopefully be able to go back to my family safely without the army killing me on the spot."

"Well, I am going to take revenge on them. You could be the first recruit. How about that?" Exclaimed Marcus

"Wow, wow, wow." Cuted in Gottfried, "You aren't ready to do anything with them just yet. You still got to figure out how to lead and to do spells."

"I'm not going just yet. I just need someone to start with, and he is a great start off." Responded Marcus.

They continued inside the house and closing off the remainder of the mist still swirling around outside. Alcred looked at the sword Marcus Conjured. It had a red, leather handle. A normal, bronze crossguard, and a curved bronze edge, single edged on the outer side of the curve. The edge was around 6 to 7 inches.

"Nice sword you made here Marcus." Stated Alcred, "Oh, and what is your name, my friend?"

"Thanks, I've been practicing for several weeks now," Responded Marcus

"My name is Gottfried, and I too was a king for Marcus's former kingdom before him." Responded Gottfried, "and you. Also, do you know how to do magic, friend?"

Alcred responded, "I'm Alcred --"

"Nice to meet you Alcred"

"And, I know Affirmation, Restoration, and fire magic." Responded Alcred after getting cut off by Gottfried.

"Good"

They sat down, as Gottfried made them all to eat as the day started to retreat and the moon rose up to take the sky.
