" 'Allo?" Questioned a man, "Are yew awake?"
The room was fuzzy and spinning. He felt wet and cold.....
"Where..... Am I?" Questioned Alcred..
"Ah!! Yew are awake!!" Bellowed a man with a burly black goatee. Rolling his tongue as he speaks.
"What?" Asked Alcred,
"Oh, sorry, *AHEM* You, are at the Lava Barrens!!" Blasted the man, "We saved yew from your ultimate doom from the Calrac."
"Why is it so cool then, and what's a Calrac?" Asked Alcred.
"Ahh, ew must be new here." Stated the man, "A Calrac is that beetle creature tha' almost keelled yew, they have an extreme poison, lucky that ew survived, and i's cool because you are in the Hutt!!"
"Ah.... Quick question, are you a Valraadian?" Questioned Alcred
"Jes!! Jes I am. My name is Boulderon. Your's?"
"Alcred"
"GREAT!!! If ew are well and lively, ew can explore the Hutt if ew want. I'll be with my fellows down there" Replied Boulderon as he walked out of the tent.
Alcred raised from the bed with a major headache and a little fuzz of a vision. He stood up and saw the little tent room he was in. Somehow the sand was cold, and soft. He decided to go out and explore. As he opened the tent, the sun blazed down on him, but it wasn't too terribly hot and the sand just warm. He was really confused, he could tell this was the Lava Barrens, but it wasn't THE Lava Barrens. He decided to explore while he had the chance, he walked to the city square which was like a marketplace with cloth covers surrounding little shops, while there were several tents surrounding the area. He saw signs on the tents, signs that said things like
Bank, Smith Jobs, Potion Making, Tunneling, Mining, Magic, Healing
And plenty others that Alcred ignored. He walked down the streets and down one tent. He walked up the hill and saw a huge tent, easily 100 times bigger than him. He could read the sign from here,
Tent Castle and Circus.
Weird to have both of them together, but he digressed.
"Allo again!! I's me," Boomed out Boulderon which surprised Alcred, "Be careful because the potion might wear off soon."
"What potion?" Asked Alcred
"The potion that is letting yew walk out here without pain. If it gets hotter than its wearing off. I would recommend going 'o the shop, if yew don' have money, I'll kindly share 3 bu' no more my good fellow."
"That makes a lot of more since, I am broke if I could borrow the 3 that would be great." Replied Alcred.
"Jes, Jes." Responded Boulderon as he reached in his pockets to retrieve the potions and gave them to him, "Now sadly I cannot help you any further."
"Yes, I understand. This is all I need, thank you." Replied Alcred, "Would you like to accompany me back to my hometown."
"No, no. No' right now, I'll give you gold to let you buy somethings or people 'o help yew out." Responded Boulderon as he gave him a large sack of gold.
"Well... Wow, this is very generous of you!" Stated Alcred
"Well i's not much when your the king of the Hutt!!"
Boulderon waved and walked off as Alcred stared bewildered. After Alcred wasn't so surprised he decided to carry on, but he saw Boulderon's skin was a lot more red now that he wasn't in the tent.... A lot more red, and it seemed his beard wasn't hair, but rock.
It would make more sense that way, he walked off thinking of what he is going to do. He decided to buy what he needed first, then maybe buy some extra arms, but probably not. Alcred walked down the the marketplace to buy some food, clothes, and some extra potions or something to help with this place. He could feel the heat start to rise, but he had to wait until the last moments to use the little potions he had. He walked up to the clothes section first.
" 'ello. What are yew going to buy 'ere?" Questioned the shopkeeper of the clothes.
¨I would like to buy sandals, leggings, and a cloth wrap.¨ Responded Alcred as he pulled out the sack to pay the Valraadian.
" 'Here yew are." Stated the shopkeeper as Alcred paid him for the clothing.
He went back to his tent, and put everything back on after he bought some potions, food, a simple axe, and a 'monster tamer' half because he wanted to see if it would work, other half so he wouldn't die. He got his stuff together, wrapped the cloth around his head, and continued off. As he walked away, many of the Valraadian's gave him an odd stare, more of an angry look, but also a scared look. He disregarded that and continued on his way, away from the Hutt.
