daddy?

tyler was supposed to be sleeping while his daddy did some late night paperwork.

tyler usually had a hard time falling asleep, even as he held his stuffie though he wasn't feeling the same comfort as his daddy gave him.

tyler got out of bed, "we gotta go get daddy" tyler whispered to his Build a Bear bear.

the little walked over to josh's office and stopped at the door frame.

"d-daddy?" he squeaked.

josh looked up and furrowed his eyebrows. "what happened baby? did you have a night mare? i just tucked you in..."

"no daddy. i couldn't sleep. i- i closed my eyes and counted sheep. just like you said." he said.

"come here" josh said and rolled away from his desk a bit before pulling tyler into a tight embrace. "okay, i have to finish this. so you can sit here, but only if you're a good boy"

tyler smiled. "yes daddy. i-i'll be berry berry good" he said aging down even more.

josh smiled as well and kissed tyler's head. "i love you baby boy"

"i wov you too daddy" he said curling into josh's side.

josh held tyler with one hand and wrote with the other. the older man soon heard the soft snoring from his little one.

josh dismissed his work once he was done. he picked up tyler and tried not to shift him to much. but tyler didn't wake up.

the curly hair man laid down his love before slipping off his shirt and just leaving his boxers. he crawled into bed with his little who had his thumb in his mouth.

josh smiled a little and held the smaller boy into an embrace falling asleep too.
