Chapter XX: The End of a Happy Ending

"How long do you plan on sleeping Queen Viviana?" I started to open my eyes only to see darkness all around me, "Reizel...what did you do to Satan?" He began to walk around and I couldn't pin point where he was, "didn't you get my present...Solomon did she not see Satan dead thrown out like trash." Now I was in trouble, "forgive me my Lord I was probably to quick to grab her before Lucifer took her." I began to dread what they were actually planning, "how could you do that to your own father!" I then felt Reizel right next to me, "don't be afraid when I say this...we both know he isn't really my father." When he whispered those words I got a sudden chill, "only your blood can undo the seal and quench the 13 demons thirst." Now I knew why he had came for me, "so you knew you had the spirit of the original Michael inside of you? Since when?" Reizel chuckled, "I felt it the moment I met you, my soul is now intertwined with the original Michael." It made me smile, "well then what would the original Michael like to be called?" I heard a snap of fingers and the lights came on, and I finally saw Reizel in all his destructive glory. "The first Michael chose the name Micah of Death...you should know why?" It was a befitting name for him, "I remember why, so you don't have to make me feel bad." He laughed and I could see all 13 demons around me in their tombs chained up. "My Lord we must proceed to the sacrifice of Queen Viviana." I finally noticed where Solomon was, "bring in everything you took from my little brothers castle." Solomon bowed and headed to a dark room, "God will never forgive you!" He then stood up and golden chains appeared on either side of me chaining my arms and legs, "God?...You speak of him as if you know him? Remember he kicked you out of Heavens gates and deemed you an evil creature because he was afraid of your powers." He was right about that but that was in the past, "if you do this there is no turning back...you won't be able to undo the past or present once you kill me." He looked to be thinking, and then a grin spread across his face, "Your right! But I don't plan to change anything just erase your existence completely." The chains where really hard they were the same chains Azrael had used to restrain Michael. Then Solomon walks back in using magic to carry the stone table and the other things he needed for this ceremony or sacrifice. Solomon knew what he was doing he undid the chains and pushed me towards the table and began to chain me up like Rayne had chained me up. "I have imagined this day for a long time and now everything is going according to my plan, and no one will save you...in truth your not all that valuable to risk ones own precious life for yours mother of immortality." When he said that I looked behind Micah to see that he had all 13 weapons that I had created to contain and control the demons soul. He had caught me staring at the weapons and grabbed the 11th weapon Nashik it belonged to the 11th demon Naruel Shirket who had the rare ability known as soul extract. "Naruel will be happy to have this back don't you think Viviana." He was taunting me, "my Lord the preparations are complete," Micah smiled, "perfect give me the Dagger of the Forsaken." Solomon handed him the stupid dagger that could cut an Angels wings not their bodies. Micah then came towards me, "do you know what happens when your cut with the dagger on your skin?" I didn't really know it was always only used on wings. "No...but I have a feeling your going to show me," and with that he slit my right wrist and handed Solomon the dagger. Which Solomon used it to slit my left wrist and let the blood flow onto some sort of container, they were planning to drain me. But my skin began to heal all of sudden and Micah and Solomon were surprised. "What is this? How can you heal yourself! I destroyed the Tree of Life!" Solomon began to calm Micah down. "Lord Micah she is a witch she has a lot of deceiving tricks!" Micah accepted that reason, "your right! Maybe I should just carve out her heart and let her feel the pain of all the Fallen Angels!" Just as he rose the dagger to my heart and electric light hit the dagger making it land far across the cavern. "What was that?" he stared at me and began to look around some of the darker parts of the cavern. But I heard faint foot steps they were slow too, but I was shocked to see who it was when he stepped into the light. "Little brother! Wha...What are you doing here? I thought you were dead?" Rayne smiled but he was still hurt badly, "it's been a long time big brother Reizel." Rayne almost tripped but steadily he got his balance, "how are you okay?...Reina's dagger was poisoned!" Rayne smiled and leaned against one of the coffins, "and yet you didn't think of avenging me by killing her...you don't really love me big brother." As I looked at Micah's face I saw shock and sadness, "no I do love you Rayne so much that I have killed for you again and again." Just then something clicked, "you were the one that killed Reina's sister..." When I said that out loud it was a big mistake, "she was in love with Rayne I wasn't going to allow that at all." Rayne was a bit shocked, "you also devoured her body didn't you!" He nodded but he looked terribly calm about this, I knew Jazmine since she was a little girl I just now realized that she was Reina's sister. "How did you find out?" I looked over at Rayne, "because as I sleep I dream of each of my children sleeping as well and having nice dreams...but yours weren't at all pleasant to see." He began to laugh as if he was proud of himself, "I warned you before if you ever took Rayne from me I would take anyone who was precious to you starting with Satan himself!" Rayne then knelt down his breathing was heavy, "I finally realized that the darkness in my heart wasn't hate towards you or father...but towards myself for being weak and insignificant to everyone around me." Tears streamed down my face as I looked at a tearful Rayne, "I couldn't even protect my own brother from the darkness in his heart because I was too afraid! Too cowardly!" Rayne's words began to fill up the last part of my memories and I knew how to end this. "Rayne is dying Reizel you have to do something to save him, because if you don't I can't make him get reincarnated again." When I said that Reizel seemed to be thinking he didn't even care if I called him Reizel instead of Micah. Reizel walked towards Rayne and looked at him, and then he suddenly embraced him and Rayne let him, "I love you big brother and I want you to be the old you." And without another word Rayne stabbed Reizel and he fell to the ground, Rayne quickly ran towards me while Solomon headed towards Reizel. "You were faking it?" he smiled at me, "yea I'm pretty smart aren't I." Rayne finally freed me while Solomon tried to heal Reizel, "what have you done to our Lord!" An angry Micah suddenly filled with fury headed toward us. But was pushed back by another unexpected guest, "Kale I owe you one." Kale nodded and Rayne grabbed my arm and began dragging me towards an exit. "We can't just leave what if Reizel isn't dead he's going to be pretty mad when he wakes up!" Rayne smiled, "don't worry I figured that out the dagger I threw at him was a transfer of shock waves that had a Neurotranquilizer. So he can't move and I also added the same poison Reina used on me, but the added bonus is that it can transfer so now Solomon has it too and anyone that touches them." I was surprised by Rayne's cleverness, "but you also touched Reizel after you had administered the poison." He nodded, "but I had the antidote and he doesn't so I won't die." I then focused where we were only to see a tunnel full of light opening up into the black rose garden. "How?" he looked at my confused expression and smiled, "you taught me this trick don't you remember?" I then started to think back to the time I had come by to visit Rayne once his memories of Reizel were gone. Satan thought it was best I teach him everything he needed to know considering how he let Reizel become a monster. But it wasn't Satan's fault he just blamed himself a lot and I hated seeing him like that. "Right the transfixed spell like that time in the tunnels underneath the castle," he didn't say anything he kept walking until we were at a clearing and farther ahead a saw a gazebo. It was beautiful I couldn't believe it, "don't you remember this place." I started to think, "when I found Hell I decided to change it and make it beautiful so the Angels could not make fun of our kingdom." He sat down and I noticed his hands were cold, "I have an idea let's go to the mortal world I need to meet up with everyone." He smiled sadly, "your worried about my father aren't you?" Rayne made a gesture to sit down and I did. "How did you know?" he smiled sadly and picked a rose that was growing around the gazebo. But as he picked it I saw how it died, "Rayne! You lied to me?" Rayne blew the ashes away and looked at me, "I need to fulfill my destiny of what I was meant to do." I began to wonder what was it that Rayne had to do. "I have to be the one to end him...to end Reizel," I started to cry it wasn't fair that Rayne had to sacrifice himself for us to live. "I found this while I was in a coma," he pulled out a weathered old box. "I think this is Sin's Pandora box...the one he got from you," I took the box in my hands and I could see that inside of it was Greed and Temptation. "I have an idea," I looked at Rayne, "I'm going to bring back Sin so he can fight with us to protect our kingdom." Rayne smiled sadly, "but the tree of Life is gone." I shook my head, "no it's not if that was the case I wouldn't be here," Rayne looked doubtful, "do we need to go back down to that creepy place." Rayne was acting like the cute little kid he used to be, "yes! We need to go to the catacombs." I got up and ran thru the Black Rose garden as if I knew where I was going and Rayne followed behind me. But I stopped suddenly remembering something, "what happened to Zedrick?" I looked at Rayne and he looked confused, "I don't know I haven't seen him." That made me worry since I found out who Zedrick's father was. It concerned me, "Zedrick told me I killed his father," Rayne caressed my cheek. "I remember...I was there when you did it," I looked at him, "why did I kill him?" He shrugged, "I don't know something to do with the Tree of Life," I still didn't understand, but that was in the past. "Any ways we should get moving we will be safe in your room, Lucifer put up a shield and it should be strong enough." I nodded and stood up, it was lucky that the west wing was so close, "when we get to the room I'm going to need you to make a portal." I looked at Rayne he was tired, "we should hurry then!" he grabbed my hand and hugged me tightly. I then opened my eyes to see that we were flying and were closer to my room, "hold on I don't have much practice on these wings since they got sealed away." I could see that since we crashed into my room thru the balcony doors, "are you alright?" Rayne was laughing but he was in pain. I got up from on top of him, "ok tell me how to make a portal?" With that he laughed so hard, "it's easy just close your eyes and point to something...although you usually used a mirror or water as a door." Rayne looked to be sulking about something, but I did as he said and I felt cold. And when I opened my eyes there was a block of ice in front of me, and I touched the ice my hand went thru it. I looked back to see a shocked Rayne, "lets go before they come after us." He smiled, "you do know I lied about the poison...I even think kale is more dead than my brother, but you never doubted me and I would like for you to hear this one selfish request." He looked behind me and sighed, "I need you to go back alone...tell father and Lucifer that this was my destiny after all." He smiled sadly and it tore my heart, "we can beat them together you don't have to do this, I know your afraid." When I said that he looked surprised, "close your eyes...take a deep breath..." I looked at him and he suddenly hugged me before I closed my eyes. "Long live the Queen of Immortality..." when he said that I opened my eyes and stared at Rayne as he pushed me into a dark hole, and walked away. I tried to reach for him and pull him back but I couldn't, and then I felt as hands began touching me.

"Vivian wake up! Please wake up...I can't lose you!" I then felt as air filled my lungs and I opened my eyes to see Luce staring at me. I got up and I began to cough, "where is Satan?" I then noticed Gabriel and Rafael in the corner. They looked dreadful, "we were so afraid of what Solomon was going to do to you." I stared at them, "it wasn't just Solomon but Reizel," when I said that Saint Miguel walked in. "It seems that for now we are safe from all 3 threats," I was hoping that was true, "tell us Viviana what happened?" I began telling them my whole entire encounter with Reizel and Solomon and how Rayne had saved me, and how Reizel might be dying along with Solomon. "Are you sure that Reizel fell?" I didn't know I wasn't sure plus I had that feeling this wasn't over, "I need to see Satan!" And that was an order I needed them to obey, "he is getting healed at the moment...he suffered a lot at the hands of Reizel, and yet he didn't fight back." I looked at Saint Miguel, "what do you mean?" he looked at Luce, "Satan said that Reizel his son is still inside of the demon eaters body." So that's why he took all the hits, Satan must still feel guilty for driving Reizel to the edge, "actually the demon eaters name is Micah of death." When I said that they looked shocked, "so he really is a Michael..." Saint Miguel looked towards Gabriel and Rafael, "I need you two to go to Heavens Gates and bring me the Orpheus of Pandemonium." I wondered what that was but by looking at everyone's serious expressions it wasn't good, "Your Highness." I turned around to see Lief standing in the threshold of the church, and he looked relieved. But I had finally realized where I was and what I had been covered with that kept me warm. Luce had used his wings and wrapped them around me, and for some reason that soothe me so much I was beginning to get sleepy. "Your Highness...master Satan wishes to speak to you?" Saint Miguel stood up, "its too soon for him to do this he has to rest no matter what!" Then from behind Lief I saw Rion approach helping Satan get into the dilapidated church. "Your even more bossy than I am," Satan chuckled and Saint Miguel was upset, I quickly got up and ran towards Satan. He hugged me and I felt his body so cold and fragile, "I thought you were dead?" Satan chuckled a bit and hissed after feeling some pain, "as if he could kill me I'm Satan ruler of Hell." For some reason Luce laughed and so did the others, "I'm glad your all ok..." Satan then pat my head, "actually the Tree of Life healed everyone." I looked around and didn't see it, "it grew in the main chapel it needed holy ground to grow, and a reason to grow again." I looked at all of them, "you should go see the tree it's stronger and more resilient to any attack just like the creator it won't back down." I smiled, "thank you...thanks for everything you guys," it made me cry and they started to fret because of my tears. "We would do anything to protect you," Gabriel said, "even if we sacrifice our own lives it will be for a better world." That was so Rafael and I believed them, "We have to end this now so there will no longer be a need to repeat history." And Saint Miguel was right it has been long overdue to end the sufferings of many. "We have to save Rayne as well," when I said that I had forgotten to tell Satan, "my son is fine." I smiled, "he's the reason I'm here right now, but we must hurry he was very weak." Satan immediately began to conjure up a dark hole like the one I had made.

It took us to Hell and it was on fire, "I never thought to see Hell become a pit of fire." We all looked at Luce because it wasn't funny, "do you remember where the entrance to the place Solomon took you is?" I nodded and began to guide them towards the black rose garden, but it was hard since everything was on fire. But I managed to guide them thru but as I got closer to the statue I saw it was shattered and underneath the rubble was Rayne. I quickly ran towards him while the others caught up to me, "it's Rayne!...he's hurt badly." Satan came to my side as soon as he knew it was Rayne, and he made the rubble disappear. I checked him for any life and he had pulse but it was weak, "get him to the tree of Life you two." Rion and Lief nodded and carried him off while Satan got over the shock he was beyond mad. We need to end this now more than ever I will not hold back this time, he is no longer my child and my Kingdom will not suffer because of my weakness." Now every one was fired up including myself because this final fight will determine the fate of every living thing, and every living thing depends on me.
