Chapter XXI: The Final Act of Love

     This is the Final Chapter of my book I hope you enjoyed the adventure and don't worry this won't be the end, you might suffer a bit to find out what happens but trust me its even bigger than what you imagine, and I'm glad Vivian had a happy ending in the end so please enjoy the Finally.

    As we head inside of the tunnels I feel the chill all around me, and Luce noticed it too because he held my hand and smiled. But I could tell he was worried about me, and with good reason if I don't kill Reizel he will kill all of us. I then noticed that this felt like a different path, it wasn't the one I had taken with Rayne. That's when the wind swept thru around me and I stopped, but there was something familiar about the feel of the wind. I then saw a light it was the soft glow of a fire, and I thought that it was strange considering how dark it was. "This is where Solomon brought me," now every one was on high alert and to my own surprise the sacrifice table was gone, along with any trace of anyone being there. I then noticed that this was just a small part of an even bigger room, and it made me curious to see what was behind the larger door. Lucifer opened it and it was dark but it was kind of hard to walk with all of them huddled around me. I then thought we needed light in here and some torches lit on fire, and it was weird I didn't hear anyone cast any spell. And that was when Satan stopped first as he saw a weak body sitting in a chair it was Reizel. I couldn't believe that Rayne's plan had worked and Reizel was dying, "is that Reizel?" I looked at Lucifer and nodded it was definitely him, and he opened his eyes. And looked directly at me holding out his hand towards me, and in my heart somewhere deep I felt as though I should hold his hand. But I just couldn't and then Satan was next to him dangling Reizel by the neck, "Fa...father...it's me," Satan was taken back when Reizel called him father. But we knew better than to fall for any of his tricks, and then I heard laughter coming from behind us. "This is better than what I had hoped," and standing at the entrance was Solomon and he was clapping too. "Solomon what are you doing here?" Saint Miguel asked him, "I came to watch the show, but your Highness it would be sad to miss this." Then from behind Solomon emerged Rayne and he was smiling, "I didn't think my plan would work so perfectly," he was smiling so devious that I thought Rayne had tricked me. Satan loosened his grip on Reizel and he sat back on the chair gasping for air. "Father...that isn't me it's Reizel," we all looked at Rayne next to Solomon and then back at a weak Reizel sitting in a chair. Rayne burst out in laughter, "how could you just tell them like that Rayne I wanted to mess with them a little bit more." Then it was true they had switched bodies, "thanks a lot Viviana for healing me, I feel so much better." I then thought about Rion and Lief, "what did you do to Rayne?" Satan was mad but I could tell he felt bad for not believing in Rayne. "We switched bodies and now I can have what I have always wanted from this body." I wondered what it was Reizel wanted all this time from us or what he really wanted from Rayne. But we were all horrified to see what that was, "you undid my seal..." Satan was shocked and I was a bit confused, I didn't know what seal he was talking about. "I knew from the day Rayne was born that he was special, and that's why mother hid him and cut his wings off every 100 years which is a year in human time." I looked at Rayne and sure enough he had that scared look in his eyes, while Reizel had that smirk on his face. "You know father Rayne is very special I can feel that this will end today." Solomon suddenly disappeared and we all began to look around, "you won't find him here...he went to find Kale." I would assume he was working with Zedrick but no one knew where he was. "Now I have the two things I wanted the most, to keep my beloved little brother close to me and to have his power." And as I looked closely there was such an incredible power it almost felt as though I was looking at my soul. But then I realized I gave my soul to protect Rayne, "Satan what Rayne had inside of him as his power was my soul I gave it to him." They all suddenly turned to look at me, "you were quite stupid to give and teach a child what to do with such great power, and here I thought your soul was never to be taken." Satan looked grim, "why did you give Rayne your soul?" I looked at all of them and as I thought I had tears streaming down my eyes. "I'm sorry I don't remember when I gave it to him," and as I tried to remember it hurt. "Reizel if you know why don't you tell us why she gave it to Rayne and not you?" Reizel smiled, "your just as jealous as my father Lucifer, but fine I'll tell you why the Tree doesn't die no matter what I do to it." I then felt the pain in my stomach, "what did you do to the Tree of Life!" I was so mad, "I burned it to the ground...but I guess I didn't do a good job if your still here." So that meant that the Tree was still alive, "as long as its soul is alive it can regenerate...you gave your soul to a mere child to protect the Tree of Life." I then felt as Saint Miguel and Gabriel pushed me behind them so they could protect me. "Where is the soul of the first Michael?" Reizel looked at us, "I won't be changing the topic Holy one." He even bowed down sarcastically, "I can do this all day and never get tired...what about you father? who do you think will tire out faster here?" He laughed and Luce hugged me tighter, "I only have one goal in mind and that's to rid the world of the Immortal mother." My heart began to thump, "by the look on your face I can tell your afraid I can smell it in the air around you...it smells so good such a lovely fragrance you give off." But that fear turned to anger in a second, "you don't know me at all Reizel!" I thought that all this time I needed to be protected from the beginning, but I was wrong I was supposed to protect everyone else. And then it all clicked into place the promise I made to Rayne, I quickly pushed away from everyone. And I walked towards the real Rayne, and he was almost on the brink of death. He smiled as I came closer, I looked around the room towards Reizel and he looked afraid. I knelt down next to Rayne and whispered into his ear, "that power...inside my soul is only yours to use my little Rayne." He then looked deep into my eyes and nodded, because now we could turn the the tables on Reizel, "brother I'll give you another chance to repent if you do not take it you will regret it." Reizel seemed like he didn't care probably because he didn't take me so seriously, "and what do you plan to do Rayne?" Rayne smiled and it was too late for Reizel. "What is he doing?" Lucifer looked at Satan then at me, "he is going to release me from our contract." They looked shocked, "what contract!" Satan was beyond mad, but right now I needed my soul back. "Go ahead Rayne give her back her soul...and when you do remember that you won't see how this ends." Reizel started to laugh wickedly and Satan was horrified by Reizel's comment. "What is he talking about Viviana?" Reizel's smirk grew wider by the second, "you didn't know father?...figures you wouldn't know." By now Rayne had already closed his eyes and all life left his body. "Wait! Rayne...Rayne please wake up! My son open your eyes!" Satan hugged the lifeless body of Reizel, but we all knew that the one that had left was Rayne. That gave me the empty shell of Reizel so I could put him back in his own body, and it worked Rayne fell limp while Reizel began to get up. Saint Miguel walked over towards Satan and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, "I'm sorry..." the words carried on echoing around us. And as I looked at Reizel he had stopped resisting my power on him, "I...I didn't think he would die..." a few tears streamed down Reizel's face. Which made it impossible for us to believe the one actually crying was Reizel himself, "I'm so sorry father." And that was all Reizel had to say before he lost all reason, and slipped into a stage of fury and blind rage. That managed to break the seal I had placed on him, and the first one to receive the vicious attack was Solomon himself. "What's happening to Reizel?" I looked around and noticed that the structure of the cave wasn't going to last much longer. "He's entered a state of mind in which anything or anyone in sight is a threat, we have to get out of here before we are targeted by his fury." Just then a portal appeared next to me and I recognized the flow of magic, it was Lief. Every one started to go thru except Satan who knelt down next to a cold corpse, "Satan we need to go now!" He looked at me with darkness in his eyes, "No! You promised me my son's would be safe!" I was kind of shocked that Satan would be this mad. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean for any of this to happen to you," he looked down at a dead Rayne in his arms. I walked towards Satan and touched Rayne's forehead and then kissed him. Satan was a bit surprised, but he was even more surprised when Rayne started disappearing. "Wha...what did you do!" I looked at the little lights turning into butterflies, "wait and see this will be my gift to you." I then pushed Satan into a portal that was behind him and teleported Rayne's body to the tree of Life. And then Lucifer grabbed my hand and pulled me in, and before I knew it everything came crashing down.
