Nightmares (1)

The winter air was blowing around me, my hair being blown from my face. I was just in my thin jacket, the one I used on Jedha, my scarf moving in the wind. A person approached me. I couldn't see anythung in that storm. The person came closer and closer to me, behind him coming two more people. One was arrested by the other one because nobody would put a gun at another one's head if it wasn't an enemy.

"Jyn! Run!" I heard Cassian's voice scream. I looked around scared. Then, after a blink of eye, someone in a black suit cut my face near my eye with a red lightsaber and I fell down. He put his leg over my chest and yelled through a weird mask: "The Rebellion is gone!"

I woke up in my bed with sweat all over my face. My breathing was loud and I checked if I had a cut near my eye.

Just a nightmare.

Ever since Scarif I keep having weird nightmares about a guy dressed in  black with a weird mask. I don't know who he is. The only thing I know is that this felt real. Too real.

I got up from my bed and put my boots on. I don't care if I'm in my night shirt and pants, they're not thin at all.

I walked out of my room, walking through complete darkness to Cassian's quarters. I wanted to knock, but what if I will wake him up?

Right when I wanted to knock, the door opened showing a sleepless Cassian. Just like me.

"Come in." He said and swung the door open. I entered and sat on the bed. A blue light was coming from somewhere, I don't know from where. "Jyn, you necklace." He said as I took it into my hand. It was the one who sent the blue light. Cassian layed on the bed near me and I did the same.

"Mine felt really real." I said softly as I put the blanket on me.

"That must be why your kyber is lighting."

"Since when are an expert in kyber crystals?" He said nothing. He took a deep breath and looked over to me.

"Tell me about it." His voice was deep. My heart skipped a beat because I had to recall that dream again.

"It was me on a snowy planet and you pushed by a guy who was holding a gun at you head and guy dressed in black with a weird mask and a red lightsaber and-"

"Guy with a weird mask, dressed in black and with a red lightsaber?"

"Yes. He cut my face right near my eye and put his leg on my chest saying that the Rebellion is gone." Cassian looked at me with shock.

"Jyn, we're in more danger that you ever think." He said as my eyes got bigger.
