I survived (3)

I was staring in his eyes. Cassian is alive. I felt tears coming in my view as I saw the only survivor from my friends. He sat up softly as my tears started rolling down my cheeks, I still holding up the fighting stick. I couldn't help it anymore and collapsed in his arms as my arm went around his neck. He put his arms around me and I also felt his tears.

"You're alive." is the only thing that came out of my mouth. He broke the hug and smiled at me.

"You're alive too." He said and wiped my tears with his thumb. I gave him a sad smile thinking of all who died on this goddamn planet. "They're in a better place." he said like reading my thoughts. I nodded and got up painfully. I extended my hand to him and he took it as I pulled him up.

"And now?" I ask, looking into his eyes. He looked also in mine.

"I don't know... we should find a ship to get out of here." I nodded to his affirmation. I heard something from the beach on my left. I walked towards the sound, holding my stick tight. When I came out of the forest, on the sky I saw a small black dot. A ship.

"It's a Rebellion one." Cassian said from behind. "I would recognize that type of ship even with only hearing its sound on one ear." Oh god, he can't hear with one ear.

"It is landing where I woke up. It took me a few days to get here," I said and looked down. They won't find us.

"There are troops coming," he said and moved his arm in a way to hope that they would see him. A trooper got out of there and spotted Cassian. He said something to the ship and soon we walked on it. A man dressed all in brown greeted us.

"My name is Walter, the android," he said and extended his hand to us.

"Yeah, Walter. I remember your commercial," Cassian said and shook Walter's hand. I did too. "My name is Cassian Andor and this is Jyn Erso. We were the ones who sent the plans to the fleet," he said.

"Cassian Andor you say?" I heard a feminine voice coming from the cockpit. Cassian walked to it, his eyes becoming bigger. "Daniels?" He asked as a woman ran to him and hugged him. She had short brown hair and was wearing a gray top. They were holding onto each other like they were just going to die. I looked another way. He probably lost his virginity with her.

"Oh, Danny, this is Jyn, the one that-"

"I was at the meeting, you dumb ass." she said and slapped his arm. Then, Daniels walked to me and extended her hand and I shook it. "Pleased to meet you." She said and I gave her a smile. It was fake, of course, but how many things haven't I faked in my life?

All the journey, Cassian stayed in the cockpit with Daniels and another guy called Tennessee. I sat on a bench in the back, looking at my hands.

"I know you like him." I voice said on my left and sat down next to me. I looked up to see it was Walter. Then looked away. "Don't worry. I like Daniels." I looked weird at him. 'Yes, I know, an android can't be with a woman, but I still have feelings." I nodded in agreement. Life of the ones who feel something for the ones who don't feel the same... it's hard. I hugged Walter and put my head on his chest, tears rolling down my cheeks silently. His hand was on my back, patting it slowly. "You're not in good condition." Walter said and went for the medikit. I looked st my hand that was around my torso. Of course, it was full of blood.

After a few hours we were back on Yavin IV. Walter (not Cassian as I expected) helped me to the medical bay.

Is it weird for me to say that I don't feel the same for Cassian anymore? What am I even talking about he did it all for a mission.

Also I wanted to get out of this battle. Again, the Rebellion and Empire brought me only pain. Hadder's mother was right about that thing with ants. But I'm not sure if I didn't become a giant because of this mission...

"A fisurated bone, internal bleeding... Might take some time to heal," the doctor said.

"And Captain Andor?" I asked, not thinking what I said.

"Two broken ribs. You're more damaged than him," Walter said and looked at me.

"Do I need to stay in the hospital?"

"Actually not. I trust Walter to bring you here every 12 hours for examination," the doctor said and Walter nodded. "Now, you need an operation. Please lay down. Everything will be ok," the doctor said and I felt a needle in my forearm and slowly, my eyes started to close.

I woke up in another room tried to get up. Two strong arms pushed me down. Walter.

"You got back from operation one hour ago. You need to stay here for 11 more hours and then we can go to your quarters," he said. I looked down at my leg to see it was in a cast.

"Cassian?" I asked.

"He was sent to his room. He asked for you, but you were still sleeping and I couldn't let him in."

"Can you call him?" I asked, hoping he would say yes.

"Of course," Walter said and went put of the room. I looked at the ceiling, my thoughts flying to Bodhi, Baze and Chirrut. They died for this cause and I want to quit. I...can't... I can't quit. I need to do it for them. For Hadder. For Saw. For my parents.

The door opens and Walter walks in with Cassian.

"Cassian..." I said and he walked to me, hugging me as hard as he could. I held him tight, but not that tight because I felt the bandages from his torso. He broke away and put a strand of my hair behind my ear. I looked in his eyes and I felt his breath on my skin, making me have goosebumps. It won't be happening, Jyn. You met him only 2 days ago. I looked down and started laying back down, but he put a hand under my chin and brought my lips to his. I felt fireworks inside myself and I kissed him back, one of my hand in his hair. I am defenetely staying with the Rebellion.

Ok, again, I am sorry for being a douchebag and not updating, but I finished school and had absolutely no inspiration.
