For the last few days, Diego Luna simply couldn't recognize his co-star, Felicity Jones. She wasn't as professional as she was when they first shot a scene. She was forgetting lines and breaking down every hour. Gareth Edwards wasn't even mad at her, but if he messed his lines, well, if any other actor exept Forest Whitaker who won an Oscar messed up his or her lines, Gareth would enfuriate.

But why not with Felicity Jones?

He walked towards the stage he had to shoot, but no sign of Felicity. Where the hell was she?

Diego walked to Gareth Edwards.

"Ah, Diego! Sorry to announce you, but we won't shoot anything for 3 days. You don't need to dress up as Cassian."

"Can I ask why?" Diego asked with worried voice.

"The Oscars are tonight." The director said, sounding like this information was something known by the hole planet except him.

Although it was true.

"And Felicity?"

"That's the other reason we're not filming." Diego raised one eyebrow. The heck was going on? "She is nominated for best actress for her role in 'The theory of everything '."

Diego would punch himself of how stupid he was. Everything made sense now.

"Sorry, Gareth, but I haven't seen it." Diego's voice was small, full of shame.

"Oh don't worry. We're playing the movie today. All your co-stars are watching it. They haven't seen it either. Well, except Forest and me. But we love that movie." This was such a shame for all of them. Felicity was their friend and they didn't know she went to the Oscars. Such a shame for all of them.

Half an hour later, Gareth connected his laptop to a video projector.

"My dear colleagues," he took a deep breath "tonight are the Academy Awards and Felicity Jones will be there as a nominee for Best Actress in a leading role for her performance in the movie 'The Theory of Everything'. If we can later meet at my house to watch it on my TV it would mean so much for her. But why am I talking do much?" The actors laughed. "Let's view the movie!" He said and pressed play.

2 hours and 3 minutes later, tears were streaming down from actors's eyes, the most of them from Diego's. How could he have missed this beautiful performance of his co-star? His Jyn Erso?

Gareth stood up and looked at the actors. "The Oscars will start at 1 a.m., but we'll meet at 11 at my house because we can catch when the actors arrive there. Ok?" All actors nodded. "Ok. Get some rest. It's going to be a long night."

I have loved you. I did my best.

This line was stuck in his head. He was amazed by her performance and jealous on Eddie Redmayne for kissing her, this woman with her heart and soul made out of gold.

It was 3 p.m. and Diego was trying to sleep. He just simply couldn't. He was so eager to taste her lips, to make her the mother of his kids - well, the children already loved her, especially his daughter -.

His phone alarm went on at half past nine o'clock. Diego drank a cup of coffee just to be sure not to fall asleep during the ceremony.

The hours went by slowly until all the cast was at Edward's house. Each of them had a bottle of coke in their hands and slowly the celebrities started coming. From 'The theory of everything' the first to come was director James Marsh, then Eddie Redmayne and finally stepped Felicity on the red carpet. She was wearing a dress like silver which suited her perfectly.

The hours went by and painfully slowly came the awards for best actor around 5 a.m. in which Eddie was nominated.

Most of Diego's mind wanted him not to win the Oscar so Felicity could win it, but at the same time, Eddie's performance was harder in a way.

The moment of truth was killing him and the award went to...Eddie Redmayne! The hole cast was shocked.

Eddie got on the stage and his little humorous moment just couldn't make Diego laugh.

Felicity just lost her Oscar to this man.

Diego got up and wanted to leave. There was no sense I'm watching the Oscars now.

"Diego, stay, there are only 15 minutes left out of it." Gareth said holding Diego's arm. "At least do it for Felicity." Diego nodded and sat down again.

Felicity's name was on the screen as they told the nominees for Best Actress award, but of course, as expected, she didn't win it. Diego didn't pay much attention to the TV anymore until it finished. He walked dissapoied to his house and fell asleep until 10 o'clock.

"We need to make something for her for when she comes back. You imagine how distroyed she is, she just lost an Academy Award." Diego said to the cast when they finally met at 2 p.m.

"You're right, but she comes tomorrow, what do we do?" Alan's voice echoed through the empty filming studio.

"I have an idea." Offered Riz. "We need balloons a-and access to the studio lights and- oh, Diego, do you know how to play the guitar?"

"I do know some stuff."

"Well you'll practice Happy from Pharrell Williams. And we need an Oscar sculpted out of wood and painted in gold with her name."

"Riz, how do you imagine we will be capable of doing so many thing in less than 24 hours?" Asked Ben.

"Robert Langdon saved the world in less than 8 hours." Was his simple answer.

"Mom, thanks for walking me to the set." Said Felicity, holding her mothes' hand.

"No problem, sweetheart." Felicity's hand pushed the door of the studio to reveal darkness.

"Where is everyone?" She asked just as her mother left, but a light opened on Diego with a guitar in his hand.

"My darling," he said, taking his hat off his head, "You're our guest."

And he soon started playing Happy. Felicity just jingled as the hole cast did a choreography and Donnie and Mads showed up in 2 minions consumes that left Felicity with a smile as big as her heart.

At the last note, Diego took the made Oscar wood sculpture and standing on his knee he showed it to her. Felicity took it in her hand and started crying because of how lovely her friends were.

"I love you all so much." She said and hugged all of them. "Who set up the project?"

"Luna." Riz said and she smiled, then went to hug Diego. "Meet me near Big Bang at 7 p.m." she whispered into his ear and waited for the mement.

They walked down the river as they usually did and soon enough, a friendship walk turned into a kissing-by-the-river type of walk.
