"Maybe this baby don't need one either" I say before firing and shooting him twice in the dick. "WHAT THE FUCK BITCH" he screams in excruciating pain falling to the ground holding himself as I squatted down to his level. "Oh did you just call me a bitch" I chuckled holding the gun to the side of his head. "Don't play with me nigga I'll fucking kill you" I say as his baby came to the door screaming. "Quan who was at the do.....ahhhhhhhh what the hell" she squeals while holding the baby in her arms.

If it wasn't for that damn baby I'd shoot her ass too. "Get your baby daddy to the emergency room bitch and shut the fuck up" I say before walking away getting back in my car speeding off. My head was spinning and the tears were rolling as I called doobie up. "Onika where yo lil ass at I've been calling you all day" he says as I cleared my throat. "I shot quan" I say passing stops signs speeding to get home. "You what" he says as kept speeding. " I shot....."

Nicki POV

"No....no.....NO don't take my baby I don't want to do this...GIMME BACK MY BABY" I yelled gasping for air as I woke up in a hospital bed hurt and confused. "Finally you're up" doobie says as I looked around seeing I was hooked up to machines but was still in my clothes as I looked down at my shirt seeing blood stains. "Wha-what happened" I say slowly feeling on my face going up to my head jumping from the wound.

"You were speeding and ran past many stop signs hitting another vehicle head on impact." I heard Candi say as I looked passed her seeing Justine and thembi, a few of doobie other friends and of course Nas. "SHIT, how my car look I know it's fucked up." I say as doobie showed me pictures of it from his phone. "Oh my god noooooo, my baby is ruined" I whined as anger came back over me again. "Mmmm my fucking shoulders hurt the fuck, I want to go home" I say trying to rotate my neck moaning in pain.

"Aye in your sleep you kept talking about a baby, damn what happened earlier to cause all this because them damn nurses and officers didn't have much to say but to meet you here and they wanted to arrest you for having a damn deadly weapon in your car but thank god I knew these particular officers so they dismissed all that. Now tell me what happened" he says as I glanced at Candi trying not to blink because if I did the tears I was holding back will fall.

Just as I was about to say something the door opened and in walked my mother carrying Layla on her hip. "Oh my baby.....you're finally up" she says running over to me as I semi smiled letting the burning tears fall. "Hey momma" I say as she grabbed my hand. "Onika" doobie says still waiting on me to answer him as Candi caught my eye again mouthing it's okay but I shook my head no. "I don't wa-want to talk ab-about it I just want to go home" I say crying from being aggravated.

"Tee Tee cwying" Layla says looking over my mother shoulder as I wiped my face sniffling. "Ugh momma let me see her" I say as she carefully place her in my lap. "Come here baby girl, tee tee okay" I say as she crawled up my body causing me to wince. "Onika if she's hurting you I can take her back" she says as I shook my head no fanning her off. "We gone talk about this when we get home Onika. I need to know why the hell you shot this nigga" doobie says as I sighed.

"Doobie leave. PLEASE! I done said I don't want to talk about this shit right now. In fact all of y'all leave. Momma can you take me home I'm ready to leave" I say as she nodded. "Call us when you're feeling better boo" thembi says as I nodded. "Aye y'all heard her lets go" doobie says as him and his homeboys got up to leave. Nas waited back of course coming over to me. "Yo you good baby girl" he says grabbing my hand as I became warm and jittery on the inside. "Yes" I say softly as he lifted my hand to his soft lips placing a kiss on my bruised knuckles.

"Just making sure" he says before nodding leaving out. "He's a cutie" my mother says as I hid my face. "Oh god momma hush okay, and I know." I say as she took Layla from me. "You think you need a neck brace baby, you moving mighty stiffly." She says as I turned to sit on the side of the bed feeling the pain hit my body hard. "FUCK....excuse my tongue momma but yes along with some pain meds, perhaps percs" I say as she nodded leaving out to go get a nurse.

After getting my brace and prescription she came back with a wheel chair also to wheel me out in placing Layla in my lap. Leaving the room we heard a lot of commotion and loud talking going on paying it no mind until vulgar words were being directed towards me. "Wait a minute wait a minute OFFICERS that little bitch right there should be fucking arrested for shooting my son, she damn near killed him." Quans mother yells as my mother wasn't having it.

She went off putting her in her place as we headed out. "Dumb broad have lost it, I never liked his mother and was waiting on the day she got out of line with one of us." She says stopping on the sidewalk. "And today wasn't the day huh ma, turn up for letting her have it" I say as she sighed shaking her head. "I know you enjoyed every bit of it but I didn't because I let someone lower than me get me out of character. Wait here while I go get the car." She says as I nodded.

"Tee Teeeeeee" Layla says turning around facing me in my lap. "Whaaaaaaat" I say back mocking and tickling her as she squirmed giggling. "Food tee tee food" she says before jibbering other nonsense. "Okay baby we'll get something look here comes nana." I say as she turned around gasping clapping her hands. "Yaaaaaaaay" she says as I smiled fixing the bows on her hair. After we were in I laid my seat back a little getting comfortable.

"Ma I'm hungry and Layla is too" I say as she nodded. "I know and I'm headed to pick up food." She says as I closed my eyes. "Now since you didn't want to say anything in front of everybody you can definitely let me know what's up. I am your mother and I feel I need to know what's wrong with my baby." She says as I huffed. "Ughhhhhh ma I said I don't want to talk about this.....you know what fine." I say sitting up telling her everything.
