All was well in the house. The first night took a little settling into but as a few days passed it became easier.
Thomas and Klaus were best friends now, which was a little odd but I was totally cool with it. We had only been here a week and I hadn't left the house. I kept getting sick and stayed inside. Elijah argued that going outside would help but he didn't argue with me too much about it. Elijah had business to do anyway, he'd most likely throw me to one of his vampire associates...

I woke up with Elijah no longer in bed. I sat up and rolled over. My feet touched the ground and gravity pulled at me. I felt heavy and I struggled to walk. I wandered out of the room, the place was... desolate.

"Elijah!" I called then waited for a moment. No answer. I waddled down stairs and met with the strange woman from before. Her eyes were red and it put me on edge.

"Wonderful you're awake," she grinned down at my stomach. She reached out to touch me and suddenly I felt the baby kick! I backed away a bit, a disturbed looked crossed the women's face. I held my stomach cautiously but smiled.

"Ooo. That was a big kick," I commented to break tension. The woman's face eased up into a friendlier expression.

"So strong, just like its daddy," she spoke. I just smiled and looked for an exit. "Have you picked out a name?" She asked gaining my attention.

"Oh. Ah. Elijah and I are between names at the moment," I responded as I saw Klaus and Thomas outside.

"What names?" She pushed. I kept my eye on the boys.

"Ella or Eliot... now will you please excuse me," I said walking past the women and met with the boys.

Klaus turned towards me.

"Oh Rose, you're looking especially pregnant today," Klaus joked. I was surprised he'd made a joke with me and I struggled to respond for a moment. I laughed a little.

"Ha. Thanks. Can we talk?" I said having this bad feeling in my chest. He frowned.

"Of course," he said pulling me away. Thomas saw we were talking and joined in.

"What's going on?" Thomas asked.

"I have a bad feeling about that woman in the house. She's like an older vampire, her and that guy she's with..." I said and turned toward the woman in the house, she was gone. "Or at least was in the house," I added.
Klaus put his hand on my shoulder.

"Take it easy Rose. Nothing to worry about," he said. I nodded and let Klaus walked off. I grabbed Thomas by the hand. "Thomas, protect my baby," I urged and he nodded and walked off. I held my stomach and looked around. Fear still held onto me. It's gonna be okay... I took a deep breath in and out. Where was Elijah when I needed him...?

I woke up the next day, Elijah was still absent. He hadn't even come back last night. Everyone had been leaving me alone and I had nothing to do but sit around and worry. Thomas was no longer my best friend, he had been stolen away by Klaus and I wanted him back.
