Sunshine and Jaebutt

Chapter 4

Jaebums POV:

I was in the hospital cafeteria trying to reach some scrambled eggs. I was starving, I was using my good hand to hold my tray and my broken arm to spoon the eggs. Before I knew it I was wearing the eggs. I heard an angelic sound behind me as someone was giggling about my situation. I turned my wheel chair around and was faced with a handsome boy in a hospital gown, he was smirking while looking down at me.

"Need some help?" He smiled, pure sunshine was rained down on me.

"Yes please aha, could I just have some bacon, eggs and an orange juice?" I politely asked the boy. He nodded and spooned the food onto my plate. He then made up another plate which I presumed was for himself. He handed me the tray and wheeled me over to a free table. He placed the tray on the table and we began to eat. We talked for a while and got to know each other. I found out this name was Choi Youngjae and that his bestfriend is an idol! I told him all about my crazy friends and he laughed and said he wish he knew them. I explained to him that the reason I was in here was because of these crazy friends and that maybe he didn't want to meet them. I then asked him what he was in here for, and that beautiful angelic smile disappeared and his eyes faced the ground.

"It's okay, you don't have to tell me. Let's get out of here does this place have a games room?"

"jaebummie, I...have cancer" the younger boy stated tears in his eyes. The only way I could react was to pull him into a hug which was a little hard since I was in a wheelchair.

"Thanks for telling me youngjae, you didn't have to."

"But I wanted to, hey can I take you somewhere?" The younger asked. I was then wheeled away from the cafeteria and all I could here was giggles behind me.
