YoungJae's P.O.V:
JB and I were on our way to the hospital, saying I was nervous was an understatement. Today I would get the results back from my tests, the doctors had them back faster than usual this time. I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not, all I knew for sure is that if my cancer was getting worse, I didn't want JB in the mess of what is my life. As JB was driving, he took one of his hands off of the steering wheel,and intertwined his fingers with mine.
"YoungJae, I just wanted to tell you that last night was amazing. I really enjoy how close we're becoming and I really love being your boyfriend. Choi YoungJae, baby, I think I'm falling in love with you, and it's the most amazing feeling in the world. I hope we can be together forever" The older male stated, squeezing my hand and flashing me a smile.
"Last night was really nice. Hmm" I couldn't return the words he had just said to me, I wasn't falling in love with this boy I was already deeply in love with him, I wanted to see how my results came out before I say anything close to a confession. I don't want him to get too attached to me, incase I won't be around for long.
"What's wrong Bub?" He quickly shot me a concerned look. I had to lie.
"N-nothing's wrong I'm just a but nervous for the results...heh" It wasn't totally a lie, but it came out so awkward I hope he believes it.
"Don't stress Youngjae, I've asked Chennie and Kyung to come keep us company to relieve some of your worry, they're meeting us there" He was so considerate, how did I get so lucky? We had finally arrived at the hospital and quickly rushed back to my room where ChenLe and Kyung were waiting for us. Chen ran into my arms and engolfed me in a tight hug he was in a really good mood.
"Hey spud how's the training going!"
"It's going so good Hyung, everyone at SM is so nice and I met this cool girl and-" before my brother could finish he was interrupted by Kyung.
"Oooh a girl huh? What's her name? Do you like her?? Are you two dating???" He asked the poor boy who hid his blushed cheeks in his hands.
"Her-her name is Tisney, she's 16, (ChenLe is 15) and she's a trainee for the upcoming girl group. We-we aren't dating but we hang out a lot and well I was thinking of confessing soon.."
"OMG my baby's growing up way too fast! and here I was thinking you were just in a good mood to see me? But you're a love sick puppy, aren't you little bro?" Before I could tease the poor boy any more, my doctor came in with the result.
"Hey everyone... we have the results here. I'm not so sure how to say this...but..." She began, hesitantly telling us the results of my surgery.. I already had a bad feeling about this.
"Youngjae....unfortunately.." My eyes started to well up with tears, I still had cancer and I couldn't love JB anymore. My thoughts were interrupted when the nurse shot me a grin "Unfortunately I won't get to see your pretty face around here anymore. Your cancer is in remission for the first time in 3 years and the hospital has given you the okay to be released"
