Sunshine and Jaebutt

Confession

Kyung's P.O.V:

I found JB in the hospital garden, sitting on the bench above the flowers; he was staring into the distance with a blank expression on his face. I approached the boy and sat down next to him.

"What's the problem Jaebum? How come you're so against the operation?" I asked the younger male.

"I just don't know how to feel about these two options. Both of them are stupid, there has to be another way. I can't lose him Kyung...I just can't."

Tears built up in his eyes and I knew he truly cared for him.

"Wow, you really like him don't you?"

I questioned the male who sheepishly nodded in response.

"Well JB, I hate to tell you this but I've known Youngjae for 13 years and he is very stubborn. Once he's made his mind up about something, there is no persuading him otherwise. All we have to do is support his decision and pray that he makes it through"

"Okay." He replied with a smile and we walked back into Youngjae's room.

We walked in to find a snoozing Chenle lying on top of his brother; poor thing was worn out from crying all day. Youngjae gestured for us to walk in and was approached by Jb.

"Youngjae, I'm so sorry... I was just really stressed about the decision, but just know that you have my full support and I will be by your side through this battle."

JB told Youngjae who replied by pulling the male into a tight hug, careful not to wake the snoozing child.

I scooped Chenle up and offered to take him home, I figured these two needed some time alone, with the day we've had.

Youngjae's P.O.V:

I looked brave on the outside but really I feared for my life. I had to stay strong for my brothers, my friends and of course JB. After Kyungie had taken Chenle home I gestured JB to come into my bed and we cuddled and talked nonsense until the both of us fell into a warm, deep sleep. I knew I couldn't get too attached to this boy, who knew how long I had in this world... but I knew I liked him and it had to stop...
