CHAPTER FOUR
By the threed try Jane had successfully walked from the couch to the front door without falling over the first two she made it to her feet but her legs once again collapsed under herself and the second time she make it to Bobby's desk before falling into Sam's arms.
"You sure you're alright to do this, we can do it tomorrow, you did just get your strength back,"
She nodded at Sam but was distracted as she heard a beautiful Purr coming from outside, Sam helped her out and down the stairs when it came drifting around the corner and braking right infront of her. There it was a 1967 Chevy Impala of course Jane didn't actually know what it was but to her it was the most beautiful piece of machinery she had ever seen. She stood there for a moment taking it in, the smell, the noise, the clean black paint and chrome shining in the sun, everything. She was somewhat surprised when Dean exited from the front driver door.
"You like?" Dean asked noticing her face.
"I do, is this yours?" she smiled walking closer examining the body.
"Yep, you like cars?" He asked opening the door for her, he too looking at his 'baby' with pride.
She looked at Dean and she saw something she didn't see in the house, a change, not a big change but something different from when she first meet him maybe it was the car or that moment in time he looked somewhat happy like this one thing actually makes him happy.
"I, I don't know. Maybe," she answered leaning into the back seat still feeling abit dizzy.
"Maybe it has something to do with your past," Dean closed the door and headed back inside to help Sam get the rest of the things.
Jane was still worried and confused about these guys but if they were willing to help her the least she could do was try and trust them and try to remember.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~They were only driving for 5 minutes or less when Jane spotted the woods where she remembers the hellhounds attacked, she remembered running against the road, the sound of their paws chasing her, the total fear. "Just here," she said looking around wary.
"Relax, like I said if they wanted you they would already have you," Dean said opening her door.
Jane walked into the woods followed by Dean and Sam guarding behind. They walked in silence for a few minutes when suddenly Jane came to a sudden holt. She knelt down to a rock stained with dry blood.
"So this is where you woke up?" Sam asked, still being as sweet as ever.
"Yes," Jane replied quietly, something wasn't right that terrible feeling had come back. 'Why does this feel so wrong' she thought closing her eyes trying to remember. How she fell, why she fell anything to help her, Jane could hear Sam and Dean behind her each breathe they toke was slow and quiet they stood still allowing Jane time. It was dark and her mind was blank, until, something hit it. Like something had punched her in the chest and she fell back onto the ground and cried out. Sam and dean rushed to her side.
"What's Wrong?" Dean questioned.
She slowly lifted herself up the boys helping her, she looked down at her feet and replied "I can't remember but I did see something," She looked up at the boys trying to make sense of what she saw. "It was a face a male face, his hair was, um dark and, I, I can't really describe him, I'm sorry,"
It was hard for her to bring herself back up and balancend, she signed her face falling and started to walk back to the Impala.
She was angry at herself, why couldn't she remember anything she wanted so bad to remember, she tried so hard. "I'm sorry," she signed again.
"Why?" Sam appeared next to her
"Because I can't remember," She felt so worthless at that moment so useless.
"It's not your fault," Sam could sense her anger and sadness.
"Come on we will go back to Bobby's I just got a text he says he has a job for us," Dean interrupted walking passed them to the Impala. "He might have some ideas," he continued.
"No," Jane stopped at the car as the boys were getting in.
"What do you mean no?" Dean looked confused as did Sam
"I don't think I should go, I'm a lost cause, maybe I should just head, on my own." Jane could feel tears but she didn't want to cry she didn't want to look weak even if she felt it. The cold air was making her shiver and the day was starting to fade she could see the sun almost setting.
"Get in the car," She heard Dean say his voice forceful and ruff
"But I think that," she was interrupted by an erupt loud voice
"Just Get In The Car, We Are Heading Back To Bobby's And You Are Coming With Us, End Of Discussion," Dean threw himself into the Impala and slammed the door. Her angry had moved from herself to Dean he was so rude and demanding.
"Please Jane just get in the car," Sam politely pleaded with Jane.
She stood in the cold air for a few more minutes looking at the Impala and back at the woods, looking at the boys she felt terrible for putting them into all this trouble but she knew there was something more to this situation something not so normal and she knew her best bet was to stay with them then at least she would feel safe.
a/n: I wanted to make a good entrance for the Impala she is one of the most beautiful cars Ever :)
