CHAPTER TWELVE
Broken Arrow Oklahoma population 102, 019, and Dean, Sam and Jane were headed out there to find something, anything. Something had jogged Jane's memory and it was a sign that Stated Broken Arrow Oklahoma.
It toke them 7 hours and 46 minutes to arrive at their destination, not including the hour of pit stops Dean had to take.
They were in the car when Sam turned to Jane.
"Are you sure about this?" why would he ask a question like that of course I'm sure.
"Yes of course," she replied annoyed, she looked in the rear-view mirror to catch Dean staring at her, he quickly looked away as did she, something was off.
"Here we are," Sam exclaimed as Dean pulled into a motel. Motel 6 Tulsa South
"Sammy would you check us in, me and Jane got the bags," Dean said leaning over the roof of the car to talk to his brother as they got out
"Sure," Sam shrugged heading to the main front office
Jane got out and headed to the boot where Dean was waiting.
It was a cold day and the air was still. The sky was a grey blanket over the world and somehow Jane liked it that way it was like the weather reflected her mood perfectly, miserable.
Jane went to open the boot but Deans hand suddenly slammed it shut coursing Jane to jump
"shit," she exclaimed as Dean softly placed his hands on her shoulder turning her to face him
"Jane, are sure about coming here?" he asked his eyes never breaking contact with hers as she rolled her face and signed
"Yes Dean I told you I-," she was interrupted "I know, but you have to understand that we promised to protect you and when I make a promise I intend to keep it," his face was sincere "And after last night, you having that attack or whatever that was, it got me and Sam worried," his hands felt firm on Jane's shoulders and she couldn't help but fall slightly into his touch, something in Jane changed in that moment and she looked up at Dean and saw someone completely different, his face was soft and his eyes were so green and deep he could have killed Bambi with the stare he was giving her.
"Okay," she squeaked out making an innocent noise she didn't know she had. Dean chuckled at the sound
"Okay," he opened up the boot and got the bags.
Most of the day they drove around looking for something that would jog Jane's memory, something that would answer why she brought them here, but all Jane could think about was Dean. Dean and his stupid green eyes and his stupid beautiful face. What is wrong with me? I didn't even like him, and now I'm constantly thinking about him! Stop it Jane "Stop," she said out loud thinking it was in her head and Dean slammed on the breaks.
"What is it?" Sam asked turning back at her
She had to think of something fast.... "I need to pee," oh great one Jane! She thought to herself giving herself a palm to the forehead
"Oh, um okay, Dean over there," Sam pointed to a nearby Gas N Sip
Jane ran out of the Impala as soon as it parked trying to get out of the embarrassment as quickly as she could
"Gesh she really needed to go," Dean joked watching her run in threw the doors
As Jane entered she slowed her pace and walked towards to bathroom but couldn't help but feel like someone was watching her she turned around slowly to see an elderly women with short white hair , and another younger women with her that must have been her daughter. They both stared at her their faces red with what jane could only feel as anger, Jane ignored it and turned back around.
