/Hi Y'all, so Yes, there is a new chapter! This is a short bonus chapter I came up with recently, there's no action, nothing like that just clearing up a piece of the story(more for myself). Hope you enjoy/

'The Forgotten Necklace'

When Sam, Dean and Castiel arrived back at the bunker that night Dean went straight to his room, without a word. Sam and Castiel moved to the kitchen, "I can heal you," Castiel said to Sam again as he watched him pull out the aspirin from the first aid kit.

"I said I'm fine Cas, thanks," he slumped down on the chair across from Castiel at the table leaning his head against his hands.

"Should we be worried about Dean?" Castiel asked even though he knew the answer, his face still.

Sam slowly looked up staring into Castiel's eyes. "He's not going to be okay for a while," he signed "We should have known it was a trap,"

"You couldn't have known....Emily choose to...,"

Sam interrupted Castiel his head shooting up at the name. "Jane, Cas! Her name was Jane,"

"I know, I'm sorry," he looked passed Sam as if just remembering something.

"Cas?"

"I forgot, I should have...," he paused

"What did you forget?" Sam moves closer to the table watching Castiel's face.

Castiel's face moved back to Sam changing back to stillness. "It is alright Sam, it is nothing. Will you be okay if I leave for a while?"

Sam smiles, still a bit confused.

"I'll try Cas," and with that Sam was alone.

Not long after that Sam was heading to his bedroom passing Deans room, he paused looking at the light go dark through the space under the door. He waited a moment contemplating the idea of knocking, and then finally walked away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dean woke early that morning, although he didn't get much sleep anyway, he stayed up listening to music, he just couldn't sleep. Every time he tried he would close his eyes and the darkness would form itself into Jane, he would try to reach her but couldn't. He would constantly reach out until she would blink and her eyes would go black and she would cry, scream out to him; her voice violent every time saying "This is your fault, I am one of them, I am dying, you have killed me,"
He got his coffee from the kitchen his movements stiff and still, the pain in his muscles constant. He too not letting Castiel heal him; some part of him didn't think he deserved it. In the library he sat at the table alone 'Sam must be asleep' he thought looking at the clock and realizing it was only 4am.
Everything was silent, too silent for his liking.
"You're out of your room," Castiel appeared out of nowhere in front of him making Dean almost fall off his chair, his coffee almost going everywhere.
"God Cas, every time," he said in a harsh tone.
"Sorry," Castiel replied, instantly his face gentle and sympathetic.
Dean signed watching Castiel's face, kicking the chair out from under across him.
"I'm fine Cas, stop pulling that face,"
Castiel's face didn't change, "I am here to give you something, it may help,"
Dean's face hardens "Cas I don't want or need anything, I want to be alone," he lied, he doesn't want to be alone with his thoughts but he doesn't want to physically talk.
Castiel ignored him as he scrummaged through his coat pocket "I got this for Jane; it belonged to her, now I think she would want you to have it,"
As he said her name Dean's chest ached, like a punch, a fist right where the heart belonged. He watched intently saying nothing as Castiel's hand moved forward in it a necklace.
"Take it," Castiel watched him slowly move his hand, hesitant to take it but his eyes locked on the chain.
"How?"
"Crowley. I was going to give it to her when she had all her memory back but..."He stopped, looking down
Dean stared at the necklace, the circular silver charm on the chain, engraved with the word love. He couldn't help but image her wearing it, the charm resting perfectly on her chest moving as she breathed in and out. 'She wore this once, in the world before, she wore this before I even knew her', he thought.
Castiel decided to leave, let him be alone but before he did he spoke to Dean in a gentle tone, "If you ever need to talk, Sam and I are here; you keep that, I'm sorry,"
Dean sat in silence holding onto the necklace for what felt like forever, until Sam entered the room; he hid the necklace in his pants pocket and left it there all day.
Later that night he placed it by the picture of his mother on his dresser.
Both important people. Both gone. And there it will stay.
/Thanks for reading guys, I may even write another chapter from the POV of Jane and what happened to her but that is quite unlikely. Unless anyone wants that? Let me know :) (or a new story following the same characters? ) Thanks again AKF/
