Closing Time [Part 5 - FINAL]

Inside, Store, Ladies Department, Day...

The Doctor and Lexi hurried in, looking around.

"Morning!" Val greeted them as she arrived.

"Morning." Lexi greeted as she and the Doctor began walking with her.

"Teleport's still fused." The Doctor explained. "They didn't repair it. So the Cyberman last night, how did it get down here, how did it get out? And why, why, am I asking you?"

"You found the silver rat!" Val guessed.

"But where are the silver men?" Lexi questioned, pursing her lips in thought.

Inside, Owens house, Kitchen...

Craig had changed and had dressed Alfie for outside.

"Sorry, Alfie, I can't leave you here on your own." Craig said as he put the baby into the papoose. "There's something up with the Doctor and Lexi, and we owe them. I wouldn't have you or Mummy if it wasn't for them! They need someone. The Doctor especially. He always does. Just can't admit it. I promise nothing's going to happen to you!" He assured his son, kissing him on the cheek. "All right, come on, here we go." He muttered before going and leaving the house.

Inside, Store, Ladies Changing Rooms...

"Secondary teleport. No, there is no other teleport, they must have had a back-up system, something complicated, something powerful, something shielded." The Doctor ran his theory past the cybermat, Lexi also listening intently. "Something like... a door. A door!" He exclaimed, going into the last room. "A disillium-bonded steel door disguised as a wall! That is cheating!"

"Oh, that's brilliant!" Lexi grinned.

The full length mirror then swung out on its hinges, revealing a roughly carved tunnel.

"So... it didn't teleport down." Lexi said slowly as she stepped into the changing room. "It climbed its silver self up."

Inside, Tunnel...

The Doctor and Lexi walked slowly, the Doctor scanning with the sonic. He then slid down and into a large cavern where the damaged cyber-ship was hidden, Lexi following directly behind him.

Inside, Cybership...

The Doctor and Lexi explored the ship and soon found the conversion room.

The Doctor whistled. "Well, well, well. You have been busy."

Inside, Store, Ladies Department...

"Doctor!" Craig exclaimed, rushing in.

"Another row?" Val asked him. "He went in the changing rooms, something about silver men. Your red-headed friend was with him."

"Oh, God, no. Val, I need you too look after Alfie for me, okay?" He told her, taking off the papoose. "Please look after him, the Doctor needs me." He then handed Alfie to Val and ran off. "Don't follow me!" Craig called back to her.

"I wasn't intending to." She smiled, holding and lightly bouncing Alfie.

Inside, Cybership...

Partially buried in dirt on the floor, Lexi found George's nametag and showed it to the Doctor. A Cyberman then marched up behind them.

"You have come to us." It spoke up.

"Took us a while, alot on our minds." The Doctor responded, standing and helping Lexi to her feet before they turned around. "Let's see, this ship crashed here centuries ago, no survivors, but the systems are dormant waiting for power. And then the council stick a load of new cables right on top of you. Bitey wakes up and channels the power, you start crewing up from the shop as best you can, not enough power, not enough parts."
