"Hello Brendon." Brent smiled. "How are you?"
"I'm good!" Brendon waved his other arm, now that the cast was off. Both of his arms were still in braces, but this was a big step. Plus, no more hideous purple.
"That's good to hear. Let's get straight into it then."
"Okay!"
Brendon had been making quite a lot of progress over the month he'd been coming to see Brent. He couldn't walk yet, or stand up, but he could move his feet and kick slightly if he wanted.
"Alright, show me where we're at so far."
Brendon showed Brent what he could do, and tried to move some more, but couldn't.
"Alrighty, good job. Let's get you up on the bench and we'll start."
Brent lifted Brendon onto the bench and began the massaging process.
"A-Ah..." Brendon murmured. He'd gotten somewhat used to the pain, but some things still hurt.
"It's alright, just breathe and you'll be alright."
"Thanks..."
Brent continued and Brendon just bit his lip through the process whenever it hurt.
When they were done, Brendon asked if he could try to stand up soon.
"Well, as long as there's no complications, I say sure. I mean, that is pretty much the next step."
Brendon grinned and put his hands on the arm rests of his chair to hoist himself up.
"You alright?" Brent asked unsurely. He stood close by Brendon to make sure he'd be fine.
"I wanna stand!" He tried to push himself up with his legs, to no avail.
"You're gonna hurt yourself Brendon."
"I w-wanna stand!"
"Alright...just hold onto my arms. You have to be careful though."
He gripped on and Brent pulled him up. He felt his legs buckle under him, and Brent was pretty much the only thing holding him up.
"See why we be careful now?" Brent asked knowingly.
Brendon sniffled.
"You'll get there, I promise, but we can't rush these things."
"O-Okay..."
Brent sat him back down.
Brendon sniffled again. "I-I wanna walk."
"I know. And you will."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
Brendon nodded and wiped his nose.
"You shouldn't worry. You're recovering quite fast already."
"Alright..."
Brent smiled. "At least we're done now."
"Okay..."
Mason took Brendon home after the session.
"How'd you go today?"
"Fine..." He whispered.
"That's good."
"Yeah..."
"I was thinking we could go out for dinner tonight."
"We can if you want." He murmured.
"Do you want to?"
