Annabeth, for once, was having pleasant dreams.
She was running along a beach holding hands with Percy.
Her boyfriend was grinning like a madman.
“I love the beach,” he breathed.
He levitated some water into the shape of a rose and offered it to his girlfriend.
Annabeth smiled and took it. The water holding it together came apart, splashing the daughter of Athena in the face.
The couple began to laugh.
Then, dark clouds consumed the sky.
“Percy wants attention.” They rumbled.
Rain began to fall from the air, and the dark shadows seeping from the clouds came crashing around her. Suddenly, the shadows wrapped around her face, and she could no longer breathe.
Annabeth woke up immediately.
Something warm pressed up against her and she began to furiously pound against it in a vain attempt to regain her ability to breathe.
She looked up after finally pushing the dark blob off of her. It was Percy, laying on her like a starfish.
“Percy wants attention.” He said into her hair, which his face was on.
“Um… Percy, can you get off of me?”
“No.”

I swear, Percy is going to accidentally kill Annabeth in the future just because he wants her attention.
