Chapter 48

Ellington POV-

I got up early to get myself ready for Lottie's party. I made sure that I got to the shower first because I was staying over at the Lynch household and hot water was first come, first serve. Soon everyone else was up and the kitchen started to fill up. Riker cooked everyone breakfast then we collected all of our things and piled into the minibus. I stayed back with Ross to sort out presents and left Stormie to look after everything.

"So, how old is Lottie gonna be Ell?" Rydel turned round to me and Ross in the back

"erm 20, yeah 20" I replied quietly. She pouted at me

"You alright Elly Welly you look sad?"

"yeah, fine, just daydreaming"

"Daydreaming about Lottie!" Rocky shouted from the front

"Ooooo hes in lurve!" Riker joined in

"Elly and Lottie sitting in a tree!" Ryland started to sing

"see little bro, this is why we never take you anywhere" Ross patted him on the shoulder and he shut up

"Aww, poor Ell, this is probably why he keeps quiet about this" Eva nudged Riker

"Hey im driving dont do that!" He nudged her back

"anyway, Rocky, whats happening with Clara?" I asked changing the subject onto someone elses love life

"Shes, well, Clara" Before he could say anymore we pulled into Lotties drive. We sprang out of the bus and went up to her front door, party poppers in hand

"Happy Birthday!" We screamed pulling the strings

"Aww, guys, thank you!" She ran out and gave me a massive hug, making the group 'aww' in unison

"Come in, I have a huge stack of films for us to watch!"

I went in first and slumped onto the sofa and Lottie joined me. The rest of the group made their way in and found places to sit. Then she put the first film on were all glued to the Tv from that point on- well until we had pizza of course!

*9 hours later*

"Sorry to be a party pooper guys but I dont feel to great, Ell would you run me home?" Ross got up and went to the door

"Okay, be right back" I jogged up to him and we went out. Ross started jumping because he was excited

"You're so cute Ell, she's gonna love it!"

I drove the 'sick' boy home and ran inside. Stormie brought some things out to the bus, Ross got back in and we went back to Lotties.

"Right Ross, you take this one and give it to her first, i'll follow with this" I whispered handing him a large round box

We walked silently up to the door, I opened it with the spare key and we went into the lounge

"We're back!" Ross called out, giving Lottie the box

"What? I thought y-"

"Just open the present Lottie!" Ross smiled and she opened the box and looked at me confused

"Oh hi ell, and why have you all bought me an animal bed? I dont own anything?"

I strolled over, sat next to her and handed her the tiny red box that I had been holding very carefully. I watched her face as she opened the lid

Then, a tiny ginger head with two tiny ears and bright green eyes popped out of the top. The most adorable kitten leapt onto her lap, and everyone 'aww'ed again

"Oh my god Ell! He's so cute!"

"Well, I knew how much you missed having a cat around so I kinda got you a new one" I smiled at her and she handed the kitten to Rydel who was already smitten

"I love you Ell!" She leant over and kissed my cheek, which of course, made the whole lot 'awww' again!

"OMG guys, you to are totes adorable I might just die!" Rocky said in the funniest voice ever, then he ran over and hugged us both. Everyone else ran over and we ended up as a huge bundle, apart from Rydel and the kitten- she looked like she had just met Harry Styles!

"Ow guys!" Lottie laughed "I love you and all, but you're really heavy!"

I spent the rest of the night cuddled up on the sofa with Lottie and the kitten, who we had named Tiger, and I couldnt imagine anything more perfect.
