Chapter 43

Ross pov-

"Erm Ross" Ell said stood at the door as I slowly stood up

"Yeah?" I answered looking at the clock, it was 10am already, wow I was tired.

"Can we chat?"he asked looking at the floor.

I got out of bed gently making sure not to wake Eliza.

"What's up?" I asked as we entered the guest room "what happened last night"

He stared at his hands as a tear fell onto them.

"Well me and Lottie aren't exactly together anymore" I said flatly "she doesn't think she fits in and I deserve better"

"Oh Ell" I lay a hand on his back

"But that's not all" He continued "I kissed her"

"Congrats!" I smiled confused

"It was perfect and she still loves me but she doesn't think we are working out because she doesn't think she's as good as the other girls despite what I tell her"

He didn't look up once, he just sat starring at the ground, you could really tell this had really got to him

"How about you don't just tell her, you show her?" I suggested "more than just kiss her, you know take her somewhere. Have a good time and maybe if you find that perfect moment you kiss her again?"

He nodded and looked up

"I miss her Ross" He sighed "I know we are still best friends and she loves me but I miss her"

I gave him a hug and sighed

"You really do complete each other" he nodded "but you need to show her that"

He nodded again and smiled

"Shall I go back?" He asked

"To Lottie's?"

"Yeah?"

"Definitely" I smiled and he walked out and headed to the door "good luck"

He walked out and I headed back into Eliza who was now awake

"Is he okay?" She asked and I nodded

"I think so"

"What was up?"

"Him and Lottie broke up" I started to explain "but they still admit they love each other but Lottie doesn't think she fits in with you and Eva"

"Oh" was all Eliza said

"But they kissed"

A smile crept upon her face

"Aww yay!" She cheered "so what's he gone to do"

I explained what I had told him and she smiled

"If she doesn't take him back after that, I don't ever think she will"
