Chapter 53

Ross POV-

My stomach flipped when I saw Eliza walking down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning and her dad looked incredible with all of his medals. I was honoured to be in his family because he was an incredible man. I winked at her to mask my fear and she smiled back at me. Soon she was standing right in front of me, the music stopped and everyone was looking at us. The vicar stepped forward and we said our vows

"Ross, do you promise to care for Eliza in sickness and in health, to support her when times are tough, to take her shopping when she needs the newest trends and to always be available for a hug when she needs one?" I tried not to laugh

"I do"

"And Eliza, do you promise to care for Ross in sickness and in health, to support him when times are tough, to fill the gap in his stomach when he is hungry but also to fill the gap in his heart when he needs someone to hold?" She winked at me

"I do"

"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride!"

I pulled her close to me, she fell into my arms and we kissed. I felt relieved that I was finally married to the most beautiful girl in the world and that we could spend the rest of our lives together

We walked down the aisle as the music began to play again then out of the huge wooden doors. Confetti was launched over our heads and it settled all over Eliza's dress

"I didnt realise your dress was spotty!" I laughed and she pushed me.

"Just smile and look handsome for the photos!" She was trying not to laugh at me "Stop misbehaving!" We went and had photos taken with everybody then we stayed outside in the sun for a while. Soon it was time for us to go to the party venue. All of the reception guests were coming soon after the ceremony but everyone else was getting there at around 8 leaving us barely any time to sort ourselves out

"Ross, im gonna go straight to the bathroom at the hotel while you sort out the room, ill be there quick but people are rght when they say confetti gets EVERYWHERE!" she rolled her eyes at me as we got into the car. Ell came running up to us looking very red

"Sorry, tiger needs feeding, we'll go there and be back as soon as possible"

"Okay, dont worry mate, as long as you dont miss the party!" He ran off back to lottie and our car drove off. Eliza held my had and kissed me

"I love you"

"I love you too" I kissed her forehead and she rested her head on my shoulder.
